ROMBLON NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL CELEBRATES VALUES MONTH: Launching of SAMA ESP Project 2024
What a Day to Remember!
Yesterday, November 15, 2024, we celebrated Values Month at Romblon National High School with our first launching of SAMA ESP Project entitled "Pathway to Education: Relief Package to Student in Need".
The event centered around the theme "Pagsusulong ng Bagong Pilipinas: Ang Kabataan bilang Pundasyon ng Pagbabago". This year's celebration highlights the vital role of youths in shaping a brighter, happier, stronger, and more inclusive future for the students. Different sections from grades 7 to 10, helped with the success of this program, by sponsoring and providing food for the package, ensuring that fellow students in need receive vital support to continue their education.
The program started at 9 in the morning, with a beautiful performance and National Anthem by the RNHS Chorale led by Ma'am Christine Jewel. Ma'am Norma M. Felia delivered the Opening Remarks setting the mood for a day of solidarity and compassion. The celebration continued with a wonderful intermission number of Yandei C. Diola, followed by a dance performance of the Grade 9 SPA Abelardo with a guidance of Ma'am Jennifer Mallen. On behalf of our school principal, Sir Jophre R. Galindez, we were warmed by the inspirational message from Sir Jovel M. Jovellano, encouraging everyone to continue striving for excellence. The SAMA ESP Adviser, Ma'am Maria Stella M. Madrona, introduced the SAMA ESP Project 2024, explaining how the food packages would help students in need. Then Ma'am Thelma B. Muyo introduced our Guest Speaker, Ma’am Belinda M. Mendoza, who shared a powerful message of hope and perseverance, inspiring students to rise above obstacles and pursue their dreams. Then Athena Aleah Amor, the SAMA ESP President, presented the recipients from different grade levels who would receive the food packages. The distribution of packages to the students was led by the teachers and SAMA ESP officers, who embodied the spirit of service and care. The program closed with Ma'am Jhanen M. De Jesus delivering the Closing Remarks, thanking everyone for their dedication and contributions to this worthy cause.
This year's SAMA ESP Project is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at supporting our fellow students who face challenges in their educational journey. Through this project, we provide much-needed relief packages to those who need it the most, ensuring that financial and personal obstacles do not stand in the way of their dreams. Together, through unity and shared values, we continue to move closer to a more inclusive, compassionate, and progressive community. Let’s continue to support each other, especially our fellow students, as we pave the way for a brighter future.
