Anchored on the theme, “𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙨 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙀𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚-𝘽𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙎𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨,” the East I District Research Congress 2026 brought together educators and school leaders in a meaningful gathering dedicated to strengthening research culture and promoting evidence-based practices in education.
During the event, the teaching force of Salingsing Elementary School, headed by School Head Loel Suico Asendiente, presented and proposed their respective Action Research initiatives, demonstrating their commitment to addressing classroom challenges through systematic inquiry, innovation, and data-driven solutions.
The presentation highlighted the vital role of action research in improving teaching strategies, enhancing learner outcomes, and fostering continuous professional growth among educators. Through their proposed studies, the teachers showcased their dedication to developing practical interventions responsive to the diverse needs of learners.
The congress was spearheaded by District Supervisor Dr. Vil Arazo, whose leadership underscored the importance of empowering teachers to become reflective practitioners and research-driven educators.
The event was further enriched by the presence and expertise of Dr. Avemar T. Gonzaga, Education Programs Supervisor, and Dr. Michael John R. Daub, Division Research Focal Person, who served as panelists. Their valuable insights, constructive feedback, and professional guidance provided the participants with meaningful opportunities to refine their research proposals and strengthen the quality of their studies.
