Salingsing Elementary School successfully conducted a monitoring and technical assistance activity yesterday through the visit of Dr. Vilma H. Arazo, Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS) of East I District, accompanied by the Alternative Learning System (ALS) teachers.
The activity aimed to provide guidance and support to teachers in the effective implementation of various Department of Education (DepEd) programs, policies, and directives. During the visit, Dr. Arazo monitored the schoolโs instructional practices and school records to ensure compliance with existing DepEd standards and guidelines.
A significant part of the technical assistance focused on the discussion and clarification of different DepEd Orders, particularly those related to the Budget of Work (BOW) and the ILAW Lesson Plan. Dr. Arazo emphasized the importance of aligning classroom instruction with the prescribed learning competencies and ensuring that lesson planning is responsive, organized, and learner-centered.
Teachers actively participated in the discussion, raising questions and sharing experiences regarding the implementation of the BOW and ILAW Lesson Plan. Dr. Arazo provided valuable insights, practical recommendations, and updates that will help teachers enhance the quality of instruction and improve learning outcomes among learners.
The monitoring and technical assistance activity served as an opportunity for professional growth and collaboration among educators. It reaffirmed the commitment of Salingsing Elementary School to delivering quality, inclusive, and standards-based education for all learners.
