AN ORDER DECLARING THE SUSPENSION OF CLASS IN THE CITY OF BOGO DUE TO
TROPICAL STORM โBASYANGโ
WHEREAS, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services
Administration (PAG-ASA) has issued an advisory on the entry of Tropical Storm
โBASYANGโ in the Philippine Area of Responsibility, affecting the City of Bogo and
nearby localities with heavy rainfall, strong winds, and potential flooding;
WHEREAS, the safety and security of all residents, particularly parents, guardians, and
students are of utmost priority of the City of Bogo;
WHEREAS, as a precautionary and proactive measure and in anticipation of any
developments that may arise from the heavy rains and severe weather conditions, a
suspension of class shall be hereby implemented;
NOW THEREFORE, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, MARIA CIELO A.
MARTINEZ, Mayor of the City of Bogo, do hereby order the following:
SECTION 1. CLASS SUSPENSION. Classes in all levels both public and private
schools within the jurisdiction of the City of Bogo are hereby suspended
on February 5, 2026 due to Tropical Storm โBASYANGโ.
SECTION 2. DISSEMINATION. The City Disaster Risk Reduction Management,
Department of Education Division City of Bogo, the City Public Information
Office, and all relevant offices are directed to ensure the widest possible
dissemination of this order.
SECTION 3. EFFECTIVITY. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.
