In his message during the opening of the Joint General Directorate and Administrators’ Conference 2026, TESDA Secretary Kiko Benitez emphasized the agency’s shift toward a more strategic, impact-driven implementation of technical vocational education and training (TVET) as the agency enters 2026 with its largest budget to date.
Sec. Kiko called on TESDA officials nationwide to remain focused on the agency’s mission amid growing expectations, stressing that performance must be measured not only by outputs but by real employment outcomes.
