MECHANICS
Cleanup Requirement
1. The video must evolve on the cleanup conducted from the time of preparation to the disposal of collected wastes. Be creative.
2. Cleanup area must be within the participants barangay, community or compound.
3. The participants may choose the date of their cleanup. The date, time and place of the cleanup must be indicated in the video.
4. Cleanup to be conducted must be composed of 5-10 individuals only and strictly observing physical/social distancing.
5. Participant must also wear proper Personal Protective Equipment such as Gloves, Mask and Face shield.
6. Vulnerable groups such as children, PWDs, Senior Citizens and Pregnant women are not encouraged to join in the cleanup.
7. Collected wastes must be properly segregated and disposed of.
Video Requirement
1. The entry video must run within a minimum period of 2 minutes and a maximum of 4 minutes. There is a (1) one-point deduction from the total points gained in every excess of 10 seconds beyond the allotted time.
2. Entry video must indicate the date, time and location of the cleanup.
3. Video must contain scenes of before, during and after the cleanups.
4. The use of video enhancement and digital editor shall be allowed. Downloaded clips from the web is permitted provided that the source/owner of said clip is credited in the entry.
5. Language may either be Bikol, Filipino or English.
6. Entries should not include any inappropriate or offensive actions and profanities.
7. Contestants may adopt any form, style or technique in video-making.
8. The entry must be exported in accepted video formats such as MP4, AVI, VCD or DVD mpeg-2 only.
9. The name of the area or location must be disclosed and shown in the video.
10. The flashing of the title and the acknowledgment of credits are deemed to be included within the allowed time duration of 3-4 minutes.
GENERAL RULES
1. This is open to all residents/group/organization in Bicol Region only.
2. Only one (1) entry per e-mail account is allowed.
3. Shortlisted entries will be uploaded on EMB Region5 page for viewers’ impact. Most reaction gathered video will get additional points.
4. Entry is free of charge. Submission of an entry means acceptance of competition rules.
5. Deadline of submission of entry will be on or before June 22, 2021.
6. Announcement of winners will be on the last week of June or 1st week of July 2021.
7. Winning entries will be posted on EMB Region5 page.
10. Decision of the judges will be final and irrevocable.
