Sharing Blessings through the Adopt-A-School Program | August 20, 2026
Masalukot V Elementary School extends its heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Diana Rajalakshmi Lomibao George for generously sharing blessings with the learners in celebration of her daughter Akashaโs birthday.
Her kindness and generosity brought joy to the learners through the food packs, loot bags, raincoats, and other thoughtful gifts. This meaningful gesture shows that a birthday celebration becomes even more special when blessings are shared with others.
On August 20, 2026, Mrs. Anna Kathrina C. Ceria, Head Teacher III, together with the entire Masalukot V Elementary School family, expresses sincere appreciation to Ms. George for her generosity and support.

Sa bisa ng Republic Act No. 6741, opisyal na itinatakda ang Agosto 19, bilang Special Non-Working Public Holiday sa Lalawigan ng Quezon, Lalawigan ng Aurora, at Quezon City, bilang paggunita sa anibersaryo ng kapanganakan ni dating Pangulong Manuel L. Quezon.
Ang araw na ito ay pagkakataon upang alalahanin at bigyang-pugay ang kanyang mga ambag sa bayan at ang kanyang mahalagang papel sa kasaysayan ng ating bansa.

Upon the recommendation of the MUNICIPAL DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT COUNCIL (MDRRMC) and in view of the heavy rainfall brought by the continuing Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), in-person classes are hereby SUSPENDED and transitioned to asynchronous learning on ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ฒ, ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐, ๐๐๐๐, with the following directives:
๐๐ฅ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ: In-person classes in all levels (Preschool to Tertiary/College) in both public and private educational institutions, as well as the Alternative Learning System (ALS), are hereby shifted to Asynchronous Learning / Alternative Delivery Modes.
๐๐ฎ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐๐๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ ๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง๐ง๐๐ฅ: Teaching and non-teaching personnel in public schools shall observe Alternative Work Arrangements (AWA), subject to existing Department of Education (DepEd) guidelines and coordination with their respective school heads.
๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ญ๐ ๐๐๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฌ: Decisions regarding work arrangements for teaching and non-teaching personnel in private schools are left to the discretion of their respective school administrations.
All learners and school personnel are advised to prioritize safety and regularly monitor official announcements from the LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT and relevant agencies.

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 17
Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 127, government offices are directed to shift to appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces starting 12:00 noon on August 17, 2026:

๐ Zambales
๐ Bataan
๐ Bulacan
๐ Pampanga
๐ Tarlac
๐ Nueva Ecija
๐ Cavite
๐ Batangas
๐ Rizal
๐ Laguna
๐ Quezon
๐ Occidental Mindoro
Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.
Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.
The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.
