📣 UNIVERSITY STATEMENT ON REPORTED GUN THREAT

The University is aware of a social media post made by one of its students featuring a photograph of a fi***rm on September 26, 2026 (Saturday), which prompted concerns regarding campus safety.

Upon receiving the report, the University immediately coordinated with the local police authorities to verify the matter and ensure the safety of the University community.

Following the investigation, authorities determined that the fi***rm shown in the post was a photograph taken from another source and that the student involved did not possess a fi***rm.

The University appreciates the assistance and prompt response of the police authorities in verifying the report.

We likewise remind all members of the University community to exercise caution when posting, sharing, or circulating content involving fi***rms or threats, as such posts may cause serious concern and may require appropriate investigation.

The University remains committed to maintaining a safe and secure learning environment for all students, faculty, staff, and other members of the community.

The University follows standard and legally compliant procedures to investigate and address threats to the health and safety of our community.

We encourage everyone to remain calm, responsible, and vigilant, and to report any genuine safety concerns through the proper University channels.

In accordance with the directive of the Local Government Unit of Candelaria, Quezon and due to the Yellow Rainfall Warning brought by Tropical Storm "Maymay," please be informed that classes from Basic Education to Senior High School are suspended effective 12:00 noon today.

Meanwhile, College classes will shift to asynchronous learning modality.

In view of the inclement weather brought about by the typhoon and following the recent earthquake, classes in Senior High School and Junior High School are hereby suspended to ensure the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff.

We encourage everyone to stay indoors, remain vigilant, and follow the advisories issued by the appropriate government agencies. School activities and the resumption of classes will be announced through the University's official communication channels as soon as conditions are deemed safe.

CANDELARIA, QUEZON — The High School Department of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation–Candelaria officially opened School Year 2026–2027 as Junior High School and Senior High School students gathered for the Welcome Assembly and Orientation Program held on June 18, 2026, at the EUC Gymnasium.

The event marked the beginning of a new academic year, bringing together students, faculty members, and administrators in a celebration of learning, growth, and renewed commitment to academic excellence. Following the assembly, senior high school students proceeded to their respective orientation sessions to familiarize themselves with school policies, programs, and expectations for the year ahead.

As the school community embarks on another chapter of educational pursuit, MSEUF-Candelaria reaffirms its commitment to nurturing learners through its guiding principles of Education, Empowerment, and Excellence.
