๐ PGINHS TRACK AND FIELD TEAM SHINES AT THE MUNICIPAL MEET 2026! ๐
What a thrilling run! The PGINHS Athletics Team has officially wrapped up its Municipal Meet 2026 campaign, showcasing incredible discipline, speed, and raw talent.
Our athletes left everything on the track and field, capturing an impressive collection of medals. The Boys Team completely dominated the oval, capturing the overall top spots, while our Girls Team put up a fierce, valiant fight, delivering stunning individual podium finishes against the toughest competitors in the municipality.
๐โโ๏ธ BOYS DIVISION: THE OVERALL CHAMPIONS & GOLDEN JUGGERNAUTS
The PGINHS Boys team put on an absolute masterclass, leaving the competition in the dust and securing their status as the tournament's powerhouse.
* Ian Mojica (5 GOLD): The undisputed king of the sprint. Mojica swept the 100m, 200m, and 400m individual events, before anchoring the unstoppable 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams to victory.
* Jenson Catamio (5 GOLD): A legendary performance in middle-and-long distance. Catamio claimed gold in the 800m, 1500m, and 5000m, pairing his individual success with double gold in the 4x100m and 4x400m relays.
* Januel Canales (2 GOLD, 2 SILVER, 1 BRONZE): Showed incredible depth by winning gold in the 4x100m and 4x400m relays, capturing silver in the grueling 1500m and 5000m, and adding a bronze in the 800m.
* Joshua Mendoza (2 GOLD, 1 SILVER): A vital asset to the golden 4x100m and 4x400m relay squads, Mendoza also soared to a silver medal in the High Jump.
* Crisanto Abegonia (2 GOLD, 1 SILVER): Conquered the jumping disciplines, taking gold in both the High Jump and Long Jump, alongside a stellar silver in the Triple Jump.
* John Paul Constantino (1 GOLD, 1 SILVER): Delivered heavy-hitting results in the throwing circle, taking home gold in Shotput and silver in Discus.
* Andrew Constantino (1 GOLD): Launched a spectacular throw to secure the top spot and gold medal in Javelin.
๐โโ๏ธ GIRLS DIVISION: SPECTACULAR INDIVIDUAL PODIUM FINISHES
While the Girls Team narrowly missed out on securing the overall winning team this year, their individual performances were nothing short of spectacular. Our heavy-hitters fought down to the last second, proving they belong among the elite.
* Kristine Dagatan (3 GOLD, 1 SILVER, 1 BRONZE): The distance queen of the meet. Dagatan captured spectacular golds in the 800m, 1500m, and 3000m, while adding a silver in the 4x100m and a bronze in the 4x400m.
* Althea Sagarino (4 SILVER, 1 BRONZE): The ultimate multi-talented powerhouse. Sagarino claimed four silver medals in Long Jump, High Jump, Hurdles, and the 4x100m relay, while taking home bronze in the 4x400m.
* Ahlea Regalia (1 GOLD, 1 SILVER, 1 BRONZE): Flew into the podium with a gold medal performance in the Long Jump, backed up by silver in the 4x100m and bronze in the 4x400m.
* Jane Pangantihon (1 GOLD, 1 SILVER, 1 BRONZE): Completed a beautiful medal trifecta in the throwing events, securing gold in Discus, silver in Shotput, and bronze in Javelin.
* Rica Mae Balagosa (1 GOLD, 2 BRONZE): Leaped to glory with a gold medal in the Long Jump, complemented by strong bronze finishes in the Triple Jump and High Jump.
* Crystalyn Eroles (1 BRONZE): Fought through a highly competitive pack to win a well-deserved bronze medal in the grueling 3000m race.
* Diana Rose Envase (1 BRONZE): Showed elite team spirit and stamina to help secure bronze in the thrilling 4x400m relay.
