Municipal Sector Elementary School Unites Families for a Day of Joy and Togetherness

September 7, 2026 — The Municipal Sector Elementary School successfully celebrated its Family Day Celebration 2026 this morning, bringing together learners, parents, teachers, and school personnel for a meaningful day of family bonding and community spirit.

Anchored on the theme, “Pamilyang Nagkakaisa Para sa Lalong Matatag, Batang Masaya at Matagumpay,” the celebration highlighted the vital role of families in nurturing children and supporting their education.

The event featured a lively Family Zumba, Family Photo Session, and various family-centered activities and games. These activities encouraged cooperation, teamwork, creativity, and sportsmanship while creating joyful moments for parents and their children.

More than the fun and excitement, the celebration emphasized the strong partnership between the home and the school. The laughter, participation, and camaraderie shared throughout the morning reflected the importance of spending meaningful time together as a family.

The successful celebration was made possible through the active participation and support of the parents, learners, teachers, SPTA officers, school personnel, and stakeholders.

Indeed, Family Day 2026 proved that when families come together, children are given a stronger foundation to grow into happy, confident, and successful individuals.

TAGUMPAY AT LIGTAS NA KAHANDAAN: MSES, NAKIISA SA NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS SCHOOL SAFETY DRILL FOR ACTIVE ATTACK INCIDENTS (NSSDAI)! 🛡️🏫

Noong Setyembre 3, 2026, nakiisa ang buong Municipal Sector Elementary School (MSES) sa pagsasagawa ng National Simultaneous School Safety Drill for Active Attack Incidents (NSSDAI).

Ang gawaing ito ay naglayong sanayin ang buong komunidad ng paaralan sa tamang pamamaraan ng pagtugon sa oras ng emergency habang pinapanatili ang emosyonal na kahandaan at seguridad ng mga mag-aaral.

Pinangunahan ni Principal I Nenita D. Bernal ang pangkalahatang koordinasyon ng drill, katuwang ang School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SDRRM) team, ang buong kaguruan, at ang ating mga katuwang sa pamayanan—ang Sangguniang Barangay at mga Barangay Tanod.

📸 MGA TAMPOK NA HAKBANG SA DRILL (NSSSDAI HIGHLIGHTS):

Pre-Drill Video Viewing & Edukasyon: Bago ang simulation, pinanood muna ng mga mag-aaral ang mga gabay sa Lockout, Lockdown (Run/Hide/Fight), at Evacuation upang maiwasan ang takot o panic.

Mabilis na Lockdown & Pag-repatsilyo: Personal na pinangunahan ni Principal I Nenita D. Bernal ang pagse-secure ng mga pinto, at sinig**ong nakasara at nakatakip ang mga bintana sa kahabaan ng pasilyo.

Hide & Cover Protocol: Mabilis at tahimik na nagtago ang mga mag-aaral sa ilalim ng mga lamesa at sa gilid ng dingding habang tinatakpan ang kanilang mga ulo.

Koordinasyon sa Barangay Tanod: Naging katuwang ang ating mga barangay tanod sa pagse-secure at pag-inspeksyon sa mga pasilyo habang nakalockdown ang mga silid.

Post-Drill Orientation & Debriefing: Nagkaroon ng pangkalahatang orientation at psychosocial debriefing kasama si Principal Bernal at ang mga barangay officials upang tiyaking maayos ang emosyonal na kalagayan ng mga bata pagkatapos ng drill.

💡 PITONG (7) HAKBANG SA KAHANDAAN NG MSES:

Organisadong SDRRM Committee sa pamumuno ng School Head.

Maayos na Ugnayan sa External Partners (Barangay, MDRRMO, PNP, BFP, at DSWD).

Pangkalahatang Oryentasyon ukol sa layunin ng simulation.

Classroom Assessment & Debriefing sa bawat klase.

Disiplinadong Pagsasadula ng mga safety protocols.

Ebalwasyon at Pagtutuwid ng mga pamamaraan.

Pamamahagi ng IEC Materials at Family Reunification Plan para sa mga magulang.

PASASALAMAT SA LIKOD NG ATING SCHOOL BAND CORPS 🎺🥁

Taos-puso po kaming nagpapasalamat sa lahat ng taong naging bahagi at nagbigay ng suporta upang mabuo at maging matagumpay ang ating School Band Corps.

Maraming salamat po sa ating mga minamahal na magulang na walang sawang sumuporta, naglaan ng oras, nagtiwala, at naging katuwang sa bawat pagsasanay at paghahanda ng ating mga mag-aaral.

Lubos din po ang aming pasasalamat sa ating mga dedikadong trainers at instructors na nagbahagi ng kanilang kaalaman, tiyaga, oras, at talento upang mahubog ang ating mga batang musikero. Ang inyong paggabay ang naging malaking bahagi ng kanilang pag-unlad at kumpiyansa.

Salamat din po sa school administration, mga g**o, stakeholders, donors, at lahat ng indibidwal na nagpaabot ng tulong at suporta, maliit man o malaki. Ang bawat ambag, kagamitan, oras, at salita ng paghikayat ay naging mahalagang bahagi ng pagkakabuo ng ating School Band Corps.

Dahil sa sama-samang suporta at pagtutulungan, nagkaroon ng pagkakataon ang ating mga mag-aaral na maipamalas ang kanilang talento at makapag-perform sa pagdiriwang ng Quezon Day. 🎶🎺🥁

Ang tagumpay na ito ay hindi lamang tagumpay ng mga batang miyembro ng band corps, kundi tagumpay ng buong school community na nagkaisa upang suportahan ang kanilang pangarap at talento.
