DRES 2026 IN-SERVICE TRAINING ✨️
The 2026 In-Service Training (INSET) of DRES was a meaningful professional learning experience designed to strengthen teachers’ knowledge, skills, and instructional practices toward better learning outcomes.
The training was formally opened by Ma'am Marissa A. Calingasan - Principal I together with Sir Ronaldo I. Bigyan - Head Teacher III. This INSET aimed to equip teachers with innovative and responsive teaching strategies, including the meaningful integration of AI in teaching and learning. It provided opportunities for teachers to reflect on their practices, explore new approaches, and develop practical strategies that address the evolving needs of today’s learners.
Guided by our brilliant and highly competent resource speakers, Ma'am Marissa A. Calingasan -Principal I, Ma'am Marechelle D. Arago - Master Teacher I, Ma'am Leizyl R. Maralit - Teacher III and Sir Mark Ceasar D. Hernandez - Teacher II, DRES teachers engaged in enriching sessions covering essential areas. Each session offered valuable insights and practical knowledge that teachers can apply in their classrooms. The training reinforced the importance of purposeful planning, evidence-based instruction, appropriate assessment, reflective practice, and innovative approaches in creating meaningful learning experiences for every child.
Ma'am Vanessa P. Cultura - Teacher II, conducted a demonstration teaching showcasing meaningful and learner-centered instruction through the use of innovative teaching styles, strategies, and approaches. The demonstration highlighted practical ways of making lessons more engaging, interactive, and responsive to learners’ needs.
The knowledge, skills, and strategies gained throughout the INSET will empower our teachers to deliver more effective, engaging, inclusive, and learner-centered instruction and to provide appropriate responses to the diverse needs of our learners. More than a professional development activity, this INSET served as a pathway toward continuous improvement, collaboration, and excellence in teaching.
