๐ข Announcement: ARAL Summer Program 2026
We are officially opening the doors for the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Summer Program at Lagay National High School!
Running from May 6 to June 2, 2026, this initiative is designed to ensure that no learner is left behind. Through targeted support and engaging activities, we aim to strengthen our students' foundational skills and prepare them for the upcoming school year.
๐ DepEd Legal Basis
The ARAL Program is established pursuant to Republic Act No. 12028, also known as the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program Act. This legislation institutes a national learning intervention program designed to address the learning gaps exacerbated by the pandemic and systemic challenges in the education sector.
๐ฏ Program Objectives
The primary goals of the ARAL Summer Program include:
โข Learning Recovery: To help students regain lost ground in essential learning competencies, particularly in Reading, Mathematics, and Science.
โข Foundational Mastery: To ensure learners achieve the required proficiency levels before moving to the next grade level.
โข Accessibility: To provide a free and dedicated learning environment for students who need additional academic support.
โข Holistic Support: To foster a positive learning attitude and boost student confidence through personalized instruction.

SDO Quezon Honors Outgoing Regional Director, Welcomes Incoming Leader
With deep gratitude and respect, the Schools Division Office of Quezon honors the exemplary leadership of Atty. Alberto T. Escobarte, CESO II, as he concludes his tenure as Regional Director of CALABARZON. His stewardship has been marked by integrity, vision, and an unwavering commitment to advancing quality education. Under his leadership, the region has strengthened its programs, empowered educators, and elevated standards of serviceโleaving a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire the DepEd community.
As we bid farewell, we extend our sincerest appreciation for his dedication and transformative impact on Region IV-A.
