The event was made even more special with a heartfelt advance Valentine’s Day celebration for our dear educators, featuring a harana, the giving of flowers, and dances as a simple token of appreciation for their dedication and guidance.

Work Ethics in Action: Attitude, Responsibility, and Excellence Seminar

February 13, 2026 – The ABM Society successfully held their seminar titled “Work Ethics in Action: Attitude, Responsibility, and Excellence”. The seminar focused on helping students understand the importance of good work ethics and professional behavior as they prepare for their future careers.

Ma'am Julieta O. Portades, SHS Coordinator, shared an inspiring message, saying that just like mathematics, attitude also has a formula that can lead to 100% success. She reminded everyone that skills and knowledge are important, but having the right attitude makes all the difference.

Ma'am Brenda P. Libranda also gave meaningful insights by explaining ABM as Action, Behavior, and Management. She encouraged students to live out these values not only in school but also in their future workplaces.

The highlight of the seminar was the talk of the resource speaker, Dr. Gerald Purigay, who shared practical lessons about work ethics and professional behavior. He emphasized that students should develop integrity, accountability, and professionalism to succeed in their chosen careers.

Dr. Gerald Purigay also discussed what professional behavior looks like in real life — practicing proper communication, wearing appropriate attire, showing respect through body language, and being responsible when using social media.

The seminar ended with students feeling more motivated and aware that success is not just about talent, but also about character. It was truly a meaningful and eye-opening experience for everyone who attended.
