📚✨SLAC No. 3 | From Classroom Challenges to Research Solutions: Crafting Action Research✨📚

On August 14, 2026, the faculty of Ungos Elementary School came together for School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) No. 3, featuring the insightful session “From Classroom Challenges to Research Solutions: Crafting Action Research,” facilitated by our resource speaker, **Mam Mary Jane Santiago. 💡🔎

The session was hosted by Mam Rossana Regado Penson, which began with a meaningful prayer through an AVP, followed by the introduction of our speaker.

📝 Highlights of the SLAC:
• Crafting an effective Action Research Title and Statement of the Problem
• Collaborative workshop conducted by grade level
• Presentation of each grade level’s proposed research title and Statement of the Problem
• Constructive feedback and suggestions to improve the outputs

Bilang pakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng Nutrition Month 2026 na may temang "Sa PPAN, Sama-Sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat" at sub-theme na "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!", nagsagawa ang Ungos Elementary School ng classroom-based celebration na nagbigay-diin sa kahalagahan ng wastong nutrisyon, mabuting kalinisan, at pangangalaga sa kalikasan.

Nakiisa ang mga mag-aaral sa iba't ibang makabuluhang gawain tulad ng paghahanda ng masustansyang pagkain, tamang paghuhugas ng kamay, sabayang pagsisipilyo ng ngipin, at iba pang health and nutrition activities na naglalayong mahubog ang mga mabubuting gawi para sa malusog na pamumuhay.

Sa pamamagitan ng mga gawaing ito, patuloy nating itinatanim sa isipan at puso ng ating mga mag-aaral na ang malusog na pangangatawan, wastong kalinisan, at pangangalaga sa kalikasan ay magkakaugnay sa paghubog ng isang mas ligtas, mas malusog, at mas maunlad na kinabukasan.

💚 Sama-sama sa nutrisyong sapat. Sama-sama sa paghubog ng mga batang malusog, disiplinado, at may malasakit sa kalikasan!

Ungos Elementary School successfully conducted its School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) Session No. 1 on July 24, 2026, after class, with the topic “Meaningful Classroom Assessment: Aligning Practices with DepEd Order No. 15, s. 2026.”

The session served as a valuable professional learning opportunity for teachers to deepen their understanding of meaningful classroom assessment and its vital role in supporting learner achievement. Through collaborative discussions and knowledge-sharing, participants explored the provisions of DepEd Order No. 15, s. 2026, particularly the updated guidelines on grading, awards, and recognition of learners. The activity also strengthened teachers' capacity to implement fair, transparent, and standards-based assessment practices that promote equity and meaningful learning experiences in the classroom.

The SLAC reaffirmed the school's commitment to continuous professional development by empowering teachers with relevant knowledge and best practices that enhance the quality of instruction and improve learner outcomes.
