Ka-DepEd, nagsimula na nitong Mayo 28 ang National Flag Days bilang bahagi ng paghahanda sa pagdiriwang ng Araw ng Kalayaan sa Hunyo 12. 🇵🇭

Sa panahong ito, hinihikayat ang lahat ng tanggapan, ahensya ng pamahalaan, paaralan, establisimyento, at tahanan na maglagay o magsabit ng Pambansang Watawat bilang pagmamahal, paggalang, at pakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng kalayaan ng Pilipinas.

Kaugnay nito, alamin ang ilang gabay sa tamang pag-display ng Pambansang Watawat alinsunod sa Republic Act No. 8491. Maaari ring mabasa ang mga ito sa DepEd Order No. 60, s. 2007: bit.ly/DO60S2007

Real District monitoring and technical assistance activity for the implementation of the ARAL Summer Program, spearheaded by Ma’am Ireen O. Aveno, Public Schools District Supervisor, together with Sir Jeric V. Prudente, School Principal II/ARAL Program Focal Person. 📚✍️

The monitoring activity emphasized the provision of instructional and technical support to schools head and tutors, while recognizing and documenting effective pedagogical practices employed across participating schools. Highlighted during the visit were the innovative utilization of DepEd-provided learning manipulatives, which significantly enhanced the numeracy development of Key Stage 1 (KS1) learners in ARAL Mathematics. Moreover, several schools demonstrated effective learning delivery through the implementation of a 1:1 learner-teacher ratio, ensuring more focused and individualized instruction.

In consideration of the prevailing heat index in the locality, schools also adopted learner-centered and health-responsive strategies by identifying safe, conducive, and well-ventilated learning spaces for the conduct of intervention sessions.

The district likewise extends its appreciation to the SDO Quezon for its continuous provision of technical assistance and program support to school heads and tutors, which greatly contributed to the efficient, organized, and smooth implementation of the ARAL Program. 👏🏻

Guidelines on Ensuring a Safe and Motivating Learning Environment

ANNEX G OF THE DepEd ORDER 06, s. 2026

ADMINISTRATIVE SANCTIONS AND PENALTIES
For Using Portable Electronic Devices During Instructional Hours

1st Offense:

a. Temporary confiscation of the portable electronic device. The device will be returned at the end of the subject period (designated time).

b. Documentation using the Confiscation Slip (see Annex J).

2nd Offense:

a. Temporary confiscation of the portable electronic device. The device will be returned at the end of class hours (within the school day).

b. Documentation using the Confiscation Slip (see Annex J).

c. Parental notice through formal communication to inform the parent/guardian.

3rd and Succeeding Offense:

a. Confiscation of the device. The device will be deposited at the Office of the School Head/Administrator.

b. Documentation using: Confiscation Slip (Annex J) and Call Slip (Annex K).

c. The device will be returned only when claimed by the parent/guardian.

d. Imposition of proper disciplinary action.
