'IF GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY, I WILL STOP CORRUPTION AND EMPOWER THE YOUTH TO LEAD MEANINGFUL CHANGE.'
Tim Hubert P. Ilao was crowned Mr. Guinayangan Senior High School (GSHS) 2026 after delivering this compelling answer during the question-and-answer portion of the competition, held as part of the school’s 10th Founding Anniversary celebration.
The question asked states that "Kung ikaw ay bibigyan ng kapangyarihang baguhin ang batas, ano ito at paano ito nakatutulong sa marami?"
“If I have the opportunity to change the law, what I will do is to stop corruption, because leaders who are dishonest in their work must be held accountable and responsible. We are the youth of change; we are the architects of our future. However, our potential remains untapped due to systemic barriers and lack of support.
With this, I advocate for youth empowerment and development programs. As a proactive leader and aspiring Mr. Guinayangan Senior High School—one who is ready for the responsibility of the crown—I will promote and collaborate with our school administrators to strengthen political literacy, so we can better understand the role of politics in our nation and help build a better community.
I believe that when I use my existence with purpose, I will be able to contribute positively to our community by igniting meaningful change, fostering innovation, and promoting development for our humanity. Maraming salamat po!” said Ilao.

The question asked was, “Paano mo masasabi na ikaw ay tunay na malaya sa iyong mga desisyon?”
“I can truly say that I am free when my decisions are not influenced by other people’s opinions, but are guided by my own principles in life. I believe that if we stay true to ourselves, then freedom will always reign. I also believe that freedom comes with great responsibility, and we must be able to choose what we think is right so that we can create positive and impactful change in the world. Thank you!” said Deocales.
