Who founded the Roman Catholic Church?
The Roman Catholic Church traces its history to Jesus Christ and the Apostles. According to Catholic tradition, the Church was founded by Jesus Christ himself in the 1st century AD. Jesus appointed the apostle Peter as the first leader of the Church, as stated in the New Testament of the Bible in Matthew 16:18: "And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it."
The Pope, who is the Bishop of Rome, is considered the successor to Saint Peter. This unbroken line of succession from Peter to the current Pope is a fundamental part of the Roman Catholic Church's tradition.
However, the institutional structure of the Church as we know it today, with its distinct dioceses and the central authority of the Pope, developed over centuries.

CATHOLICISM X-RAYED BY A PENTECOSTAL PREACHER.
Paul Chibuye (an active Pentecostal preacher based in Zambia) writes:
"I admire Catholics level of unbotheredness. You can criticize their church, their leaders or their faith, they will listen to you until you finish, then they will go to church the next Sunday, eat the Sacrament and go home.
They do believe in miracles but they don’t chase miracle from church to church. Mass is only 1 hr, no time for gossip, you don’t have to over dress to impress anyone.
They don't even have loud speakers in their churches to disturb villagers, they don't hold crusades or go evangelising. If you want to join them, you have to go look for the church yourself, they have no time convincing you to join them. Nor do they have time to preach against other denominations. They don't even have time to recognize visitors for unnecessary greetings.
Minding their business is a full time job.
No time to organize false marriages, no hypocrisy. No need for the priest approval to know you are doing right, personal relationship with God, a relationship that is between you and your Creator and Jesus in your heart, not shouting to prove anything. Quietness no fake falling under anointing or pretending to hear from God and doing the opposite.
They practice daily repentance, prayer, devotion, meditation, humility, charity and sacrifice. Very disciplined denomination".
GOD bless his church.

On the first day God created the dog. God said, “Sit all day by the door of your house and bark at anyone who comes in or walks past. I will give you a life span of twenty years.” The dog said, “That’s too long to be barking. Give me ten years and I’ll give you back the other ten.”
So God agreed.
On the second day God created the monkey. God said, “Entertain people, do monkey tricks and make them laugh. I’ll give you a twenty-year life span.” The monkey said, “Monkey tricks for twenty years? I don’t think so. Dog gave you back ten, so that’s what I’ll do too, okay?”
And God agreed.
On the third day God created the cow. “You must go to the field with the farmer all day long and suffer under the sun, have calves, and give milk to support the farmer. I will give you a life span of sixty years.”
The cow said, “That’s kind of a tough life you want me to live for sixty years. Let me have twenty and I’ll give back the other forty.”
And God agreed again.
On the fourth day God created man. God said, “Eat, sleep, play, marry and enjoy your life. I’ll give you twenty years.”
Man said, “What? Only twenty years? Tell you what, I’ll take my twenty, and the forty the cow gave back, and the ten the monkey gave back, and the ten the dog gave back, that makes eighty, okay?”
Okay,” said God, “You’ve got a deal.”
So that is why the first twenty years we eat, sleep, play, and enjoy ourselves; the next forty years we slave in the sun to support our family; the next ten years we do monkey tricks to entertain the grandchildren; and the last ten years we sit on the front porch and bark at everyone.

As we approach the end of the liturgical year, the Gospel reminds us of the impending judgment that awaits us. To speak of judgment day does not mean watering down the generous mercy of God. Far from it. In diving into the ocean of His mercy, we do not intend to misuse or to abuse it. Rather, we are moved by the appreciation of the justice that every creature owes to God as supreme good; as Creator, and final end. In celebrating God's mercy, we must not neglect a proper sense of fear, awe, and reverence towards His justice, which will surely come. Great is our God: now is the time of His grace; now is the time to avail of His great mercy. Now, while we still live! ✴

When God created the universe, He used His words. He said, “Let there be light.” And there was light. “Let there be sun. Let there be moon. Let there be mountains.” All these were created by the power of His word.
I want you to know that you’re made in God’s image and likeness—you are like Him so your words also have power.
When you wake up in the morning, you can say, “This is going to be a great, amazing day. I’m going to be super blessed.”
Let’s say you have a big meeting, and you’ll present to a top client, or you’re going through some difficulties. You can quote Scripture: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). In the midst of a need, you can say, “The Lord is my Shepherd, there is nothing I shall want” (Psalm 23:1).
When you say those words, your heart begins to open up. You begin to see God’s blessing right in front of you. It will affect your mood, your vision. So be careful with your vocabulary because you could actually do the very opposite.
I know a lot of people who do that. They wake up in the morning and say, “Hay, buwisit na araw ito, ang daming problema. Woe is me!” (This day is annoying. I have so many problems.)
You can do that. But your immune system weakens and your mind slows down. You begin to feel heavy in your body, mind, attitude, and disposition. Even if the blessing is right in front of you, waving at you, jumping up and down, you won’t see it. Because you’ve programmed your mind to see the problem, not the blessing.
So remember to be careful with your words.
I’m a father with two kids, and when they leave, I pray over them and say, “God bless you. God empower you. God fill you with wisdom. God guide you.” Those are not just words. They are real. And my kids receive what I pray for.
I pray that you receive peace, joy, power, wisdom, and healing in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
May your dreams come true,
Bo

WE DO NOT WORSHIP THE SAINTS
---
The most common accusation against Catholics by other Christian Churches is the supposed worship of the saints. This is not true. We do not worship the saints nor the images. Worshipping the saints is a sin. It is idolatry. God alone should be worshipped. What we render to the saints is honor and veneration. We honor them just as how we honor national heroes, for the saints are the heroes of the faith. We honor them because they provide us three things: INSTRUCTION (their writings and words teach us about the faith), INSPIRATION (we model our way of life to theirs), and INTERCESSION (we ask them to pray for us).

BIG 7 SECRETS IN MARRIAGE THAT WILL SAVE YOUR RELATIONSHIP FOR BETTER.
Secret 1
Everyone you marry has a weakness. So if you focus on your spouse's weakness you can't get the best out of his strength.
Secret 2
Everyone has a dark history. No one is an angel. When you get married or you want to get married stop digging into someone's past. What matters most is the present life of your partner. Old things have passed away. Forgive and forget. Focus on the present and the future.
Secret 3
Every marriage has its own challenges. Marriage is not a bed of roses. Every good marriage has gone through its own test of blazing fire. True love proves in times of challenges. Fight for your marriage. Make up your mind to stay with your spouse in times of need. Remember the vow For better for worse. In sickness and in health be there.
Secret 4
Every marriage has different levels of success. Don't compare your marriage with any one else. We can never be equal. Some will be far, some behind. To avoid marriage stresses, be patient, work hard and with time your marriage dreams shall come true.
Secret 5
To get married is declaring war. When you get married you must declare war against enemies of marriage. Some enemies of marriage are:
1. Ignorance
2. Prayerlessness
3. Unforgiveness
4. Third party influence
5. Stinginess
6. Stubbornness

Secret 6
There is no perfect marriage. There is no ready made marriage. Marriage is hard work. Volunteer yourself to work daily on it.
Marriage is like a car that needs proper maintenance and proper service. If this is not done it will break down somewhere exposing the owner to danger or some unhealthy circumstances. Let us not be careless about our marriages.
Secret 7
The Creator of the universe cannot give you a complete person you desire.
He gives you the person in the form of raw materials.
