The scavenger hunt activity targets several developmental and social skills. The child practices following directions, visual scanning, and problem-solving while searching for items in the environment. The activity also encourages communication through labeling items found and answering simple questions. When completed in a group, it supports social interaction, cooperation, and turn-taking!
