Pathways to Progress: Celebrating the Completion & Blessing of the New MCS Path Walk

The successful completion and blessing of the new Path Walk stands as a proud milestone for the entire MCS community. Conceptualized, funded, and spearheaded through the dedicated efforts of the MCS PTA Board of Trustees (BOT), this project represents far more than just a physical walkway—it is a tangible symbol of what a school community can achieve through shared vision and collective effort.

At its core, the new path walk was built with one clear priority in mind: ensuring a safe, clean, and secure environment for students, teachers, staff, and visitors.

Before this project, navigating campus grounds—especially during bad weather or peak drop-off and pick-up hours—could present daily hazards.
The completed path walk provides:

Secure & Weather-Proof Passage: A slip-resistant, elevated walking surface that keeps pedestrians safe regardless of rain or mud.

Organized Traffic Flow: A designated foot path that safely separates pedestrian movement from vehicular areas.

Accessibility for All: A seamless route connecting key campus areas, making daily commutes easier for everyone—from young students carrying heavy bags to school personnel moving equipment.

Thank you to our dedicated PTA BOT, school administrators, and all parents whose support and shared vision made this achievement possible. Together, we keep stepping forward!

Turning the Page, Serving Together: MCS PTA-BOT Oath Taking & Turnover Ceremony

On July 16, 2026, the MCS community gathered for a meaningful milestone as we officially welcomed the incoming PTA Board of Trustees (PTA-BOT) and Grade Level Officers for the new school year!

The day began in prayer and thanksgiving with a Holy Mass, seeking guidance and blessings for the journey ahead. Following the Mass, the formal Turnover Ceremony took place, honoring the outgoing officers for their dedicated service and leadership over the past year, while passing the torch to our newly elected leaders.

With hearts ready to serve, both the PTA-BOT and Grade Level Officers solemnly recited their oath of commitment to support our students, teachers, and school community.

To wrap up the celebration, everyone shared a warm fellowship meal—a wonderful reminder that when parents and teachers break bread together, our partnership grows stronger!

Thank you to our past officers for your unwavering dedication, and congratulations to our new set of officers. Here’s to another fruitful year of collaboration, growth, and community!

It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of T. Myra R. Trinidad, a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished member of our Carmelian family and community.

T. Myra’s life was defined by her unwavering love, kindness, and strength. She touched countless lives with her compassion and generosity, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew her.

She is survived by her family, who will forever treasure her memory and honor the profound impact she made in their lives.

Family, relatives, and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate her life at Aeternitas Chapels and Columbarium, Serenity Room, 6th Floor, from July 14, 2026 (5:00 PM onward) until July 17, 2026. Cremation rites will follow on Saturday, July 18, 2026.

The family deeply appreciates your presence, prayers, and support during this time of mourning as we gather to remember a life beautifully lived.
