Celebrating the 75th year anniversary of Educational Administration in the UP College of Education, it was a pleasure to witness the interactive and delightful performances of the Kontemporaryong Gamelan Pilipino (Kontra-GaPi), a Resident Ethnic Music and Dance Ensemble of the College of Arts and Letters.

We are sharing with you an amateur video where its talented members were able to showcase a world-class entertainment for everyone who attended the NRSEL 2025 fellowship dinner at the Benitez Hall lobby, College of Education. Be amazed of their musical score, voices, and dance renditions.

They are also known as Kontra-Gapi, for the group’s unique interpretation of what contemporary repertoire is — Masterfully blending Philippine and Asian cultural traditions in the form of music and dance.
