Teacher Irvin is a member of the Sonore Music Philippines Faculty and is currently teaching at Sonore Music Philippines Taft and Makati Branch.

For Teacher Irvin, books are the best source of information (even better than the Internet). To be able to publish a book, especially an academic one, it requires credibility. In these modern times, we are surrounded by Information, most of which are not Verified and Fake.

The Organ is a considered the "King of Instruments". Teacher Irvin specifically choose this Instrument as his Minor Subject while in the College of Music, because of its majesty and for continuing his education as an Organist.

He Studied under the tutelage of the late Dr. Genesis C. Rivera MD, a renowned church organist and pediatrician. After his demise his Organ Studies continued under Prof. Jayson B. Yanguas an organ professor at the New Era University and Bro. Michael A. Solitario a Church Choir Director and Organist. Teacher Irvin also became a participant of a Masterclass by Johannus (A famous Organ Company based in The Netherlands) facilitated by Sir Martin Van Heerde.

This became his background in playing Keyboard and a primary source of his approach in teaching and interpretation of the pieces for the Piano and Organ.

Down Beats are Crucial to give the audience the sense of the beat it self and it makes it easier for them to remember a song.

In beginner pianists we tend to make them emphasize the down beats so that they can sense the tempo and where the music should go.

WHO IS TEACHER IRVIN?

• Teacher Irvin Started to show interest in Music at the Age of 3.
• By Age 5 started singing in the Choir as a Boy Soprano and a Soloist.
• By Age age 10 started to show interest in Teaching the Choir and was mentored by Dr. Ed Manguiat of the UP Singing Ambassadors.
• Has been an actor in Various Musicals conducted by the NEU College of Communication (Si Sir (An Original Play) Love Never Dies, Les Miserables)
• A Student of the NEU College of Music as a Choral Conducting Major and then currently a Voice Major with Minor Subjects for Keyboard (Organ)
• A Church Organist and Teacher
• A Voice Coach and Mentor
• A Piano Teacher
