Today, GLCA honors the strength, dedication, and resilience of every Filipino worker: the hands that build, the minds that innovate, and the hearts that persevere. 🇵🇭

Celebrated every May 1st in the Philippines, 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘆 is rooted in the long history of workers standing up for fair treatment, proper wages, and safe working conditions. It is a day that recognizes not just the presence of work, but the rights and dignity of the people behind it. In our own community, we see this through the individuals who keep our school running and those beyond it who support everyday life. To all Filipino workers, thank you for what you do!

Where do you find strength when you feel at your weakest?

🎓 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔!

💫 On April 11, 2026, Gospel Light Christian Academy held its 𝟐𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠-𝐔𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬 for the 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐮𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚 was recognized as Grade 10 First Honor. Salutatorian honors were awarded to 𝐌𝐚𝐱𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐉𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐳 of Grade 6 and 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐧 of Grade 12, while valedictorian honors were given to 𝐊𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐳𝐚𝐝𝐚 of Grade 6 and 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 of Grade 12.🏅

As the school year closes with countless milestones, GLCA bids farewell to students who helped shape its community—reminding them that this moment is not the end, but only the beginning of the journey ahead. 🌟

Last April 10, 2026, 𝗚𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 celebrated a remarkable milestone as students from the 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 were honored for their achievements under the inspiring theme “𝙋𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙇𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜.” 🌿📖

From heartfelt prayers, music, and messages, to outstanding performances and well-deserved awards—every moment of this special day reflected 𝘎𝘰𝘥’𝘴 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴’ 𝘥𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦. 🙏🏻

Gospel Light Christian Academy successfully held its 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁-𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿-𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁 last March 27, 2026, showcasing the incredible talents of students from all levels—from our youngest performers to our skilled recitalists 🎻🎹🎤

With the theme “𝗩𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲,” each performance became more than just a display of talent—it was an offering of gratitude, dedication, and worship ❤️

From heartfelt solos and duets to uplifting choir performances, the afternoon came alive with passion and perseverance 🎶✨

𝗚𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 celebrated its 𝟮𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆 with two joyful days of 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩, 𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘭𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. Students, teachers, parents, and alumni came together to enjoy lively performances, exciting booths, games, and intramurals that filled the campus with laughter and school spirit. 💙💛

More than just a celebration, the event reminded the GLCA community of 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀. As the school reflects on 29 years of blessings, it continues to move forward with 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩, 𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨. ✨🙏🏻

Gospel Light Christian Academy faced Mayfield Montessori Academy in an action-packed interschool tune-up on Tuesday, February 3, held at the GLCA roof deck and featuring girls’ volleyball, men’s volleyball, and basketball.

Mayfield secured wins in both the girls’ and men’s volleyball matches, demonstrating steady teamwork and a strong court presence that kept every rally competitive.

Gospel Light Christian Academy closed the day with a well-earned victory in basketball, ending the event on a high note and reflecting the team’s discipline, energy, and growing confidence.

The games had wrapped up early in the evening, but the lessons, momentum, and school spirit built on the GLCA roof deck will carry into the matches ahead.

The long-awaited field trip for the students of Gospel Light Christian came on January 30, 2026.

The day began with a visit to the largest urban park in the Philippines, Luneta.

The day progressed as the high school and intermediate departments explored the National Museum of Anthropology and Natural History, delving into our culture.

After immersing themselves in history, the students proceeded to their final destination, Star City, where they learned about courage and camaraderie.

Walking through the past, celebrating the present, and looking toward the future, this field trip provided a meaningful learning experience- beyond the classroom and lasting memories for our students.

𝐆𝐀𝐌𝐄 𝐎𝐍, 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐐𝐔𝐄𝐑𝐎𝐑𝐒! 🏀

Gospel Light Christian Academy officially opened its 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐬 today, February 6, with intense basketball matchups from the Intermediate and High School departments.

🏅 The Intermediate division competed in a thrilling 3-on-3 game, where the Blue Team secured the win. The High School division followed with both 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 games, as the Red Team took home victories in both matches.

🏆 With energy high and anticipation stronger than ever, this is only the beginning of the intramurals action! 👁🏐⏳️
