𝓝𝓞𝓣 𝓢𝓞 𝓕𝓤𝓝 𝓕𝓐𝓒𝓣 :
There is a "giant plastic island" somewhere in the Pacific... and no, it isn't a tourist destination.

The 𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙋𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘 𝙂𝙖𝙧𝙗𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝 is a massive accumulation of marine debris in the North Pacific Ocean primarily made out of plastic waste. It formed gradually as a result of ocean pollution being gathered into one area by ocean currents. It is estimated to be 1.6 million km² or roughly 3x the size of France!

So next time you toss that plastic bottle carelessly, you might've just sent it on an unwarranted trip to the Great Pacific Garbage Patch!

Yes, you heard that right! trees talk to each other from right beneath our feet using a fungal network called the "𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐖𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐛". through this network, trees can send each other resources, support their offsprings, and even send warning signals to each other! but some hijack it to sabotage their rivals... 😨 Who knew trees also had a dark side?

𝓓𝓘𝓓 𝓨𝓞𝓤 𝓚𝓝𝓞𝓦?
There is currently a "hole" in the ozone layer over Antarctica, allowing more UV radiation to reach the surface, which could lead to potential damage to plant and marine life.

Ozone holes are primarily caused by industrial chemicals (CFCs, Halogens), as well as other causes such as agricultural emissions and natural contributors like volcanoes and wildfires.
