What I don’t tolerate as a parent (even if it makes me the ‘strict’ one)
I don’t tolerate disrespect.
Not the eye-rolling.
Not the ignoring.
Not the “later” when I already said now.
Because I’m not just raising a child—
I’m raising a future adult.
And the world will not adjust for their attitude.
I don’t believe in letting things slide just to keep the peace.
Because temporary peace creates long-term problems.
My child can:
✔ Express feelings
✔ Disagree
✔ Be upset
But they cannot:
❌ Disrespect
❌ Manipulate
❌ Ignore boundaries
Love is not the absence of discipline.
Love is teaching them how to function in the real world.
Call me strict. I call it responsible parenting.
If this resonates, you’re my kind of parent. 💯
