UPCAT 2026 RESULTS ARE OUT!

Application results for incoming new first-year students for AY 2026-2027 are now available.

It is encouraged to log in to the UPCAT 2026 results portal to view your results according to the allotted time slots.

Applicants who are offered a slot must reply to the offer by 16 May 2026, Saturday. Access the UPCAT 2026 results portal at https://upcat2026results.up.edu.ph/ using the login credentials you used to apply.

UPCAT 2026 ANNOUNCEMENT

Applicants who were able to take the exam last 2025 should verify that the email address they used for their application is accessible and able to send and receive messages. Ensure that the email storage is not full and the email address has not been deactivated.

UPCAT 2027 Form 2A Reminder

UPCAT 2027 applicants who were able to submit their Form 1 must also be confirmed as a student by their senior high school through the Form 2A online portal by the extended deadline on 24 April 2026.

If Step 3 in your checklist is still unchecked, kindly remind your school official to confirm you as their student. Applicants who are not confirmed by their school will not be issued an UPCAT test permit.

UPCAT 2027 applications for incoming new first-year students for AY 2027-2028 are open until the extended deadline on Monday, 13 April 2026.

Current Grade 11 students or those expected to graduate senior high school by the end of SY 2026-2027 are eligible to apply.

Applicants can access the online application portal at https://upcat2027online.up.edu.ph/

Completely fill out the application and triple-check all details. Do not forget to click the ‘Submit Form 1’ button after verifying that all information is correct.

School officials must fill out and confirm their students in the Form 2A portal until the extended deadline on 24 April 2026, for applicants to receive their test permit in July 2026.

The University of the Philippines - Diliman, recognized as the nation’s premier academic institution, is inviting aspiring and accomplished chess players to be part of the UP Varsity Chess Team. More than just a game, chess is a rigorous intellectual pursuit resonating qualities that also define every Iskolar ng Bayan. As a university that upholds the values of honor, excellence, and service, UP Diliman views chess as both a competitive sport and an academic discipline, honing future leaders of the nation.

Successful athletes will receive a full scholarship, and financial assistance will be provided. They will also be provided with official playing uniforms to represent UP in local and international tournaments, along with whole-day food subsidies to support their physical and cognitive performance. Additionally, dormitory accommodations within a green and vibrant campus will be available to ensure a conducive environment for both academic and athletic excellence.

Chess certificates, and/or other documents, detailing tournament records, achievements, and affiliations, must also be submitted in the provided tryout form as part of the application process. Shortlisted applicants will be invited for the scheduled tryouts.
