ACELT's upcoming workshop is on Using AI tools as Reflective Practice in Assessing Writing
With the ubiquity of artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots creating unprecedented student access to AI, can writing teachers still be able to determine whether a student’s output is truly original? In this workshop, we discuss how AI has affected the way students write and explore these as reflective tools in the language classroom. The topics and activities are designed to assist teachers in navigating artificial intelligence: determining one’s stance on AI use, evaluating students’ writing practice, and building confidence in one’s ability to use it as a possible pedagogical tool.

Fee: 700 for new TC Members
(inclusive of Snacks, PRC Certificate and Digitized ACELT Forum)
