From French review sessions, to a trivia night, and a race through challenges, this year’s La Semaine Française: Les Rues de la Francophonie brought our community together through language, culture, learning, and fun.

As we celebrate the 40th anniversary of UP Le Club Français, we’re reminded that every street we walked this week was filled with stories, laughter, discoveries, and connections that made this event truly special.

Merci to everyone who participated, volunteered, supported, and shared these moments with us. You helped bring the streets of the Francophonie to life.

The iconic ⭐️ the thrilling 🤩 adventure series, the AMAZING RACE, has arrived! But this time, you will explore the Francophonie world.😉🗺️

𝗟𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 is an interactive, high-energy adventure race designed to serve as a flagship event of the annual French Week celebration. This event invites participants to explore the University of the Philippines campus, decipher clues, solve challenges, and work together as a team to reach the finish line. More than a competition, it is designed as an 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, fostering a deeper appreciation of the Filipino and French languages and cultures. 🇵🇭🇫🇷

In celebration of La Semaine Française, this quiz night aims to test participants’ knowledge of 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗼-𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, and the 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱. These include their culture, geography, history, music, arts, current events, literature, and gastronomy. Conducted through a bidding system where every correct answer earns the right to place a Power Card, this game becomes a test of knowledge and a battle of strategy and tactical decision-making.
