Words seem inadequate to express our sadness over the passing of our college batchmate, Lor Laderas. Whenever we saw her along the corridors (or even during our in-house review), she never failed to greet us with a big smile on her face.

To her family, loved ones, and closest friends whom she left behind, on behalf of UERM College of Nursing Archeans Class 2012, our hearts are with you in this time of sorrow.

One of our batchmates is already reaching out to the family to extend any help we can give, details to follow. Please keep posted.

We also awaiting the details regarding her wake and interment.

Dear Batchmates!

It's been a while!!! The past few days surely brought a lot of not-so-good memories back in 2009 during our sophomore year in nursing school. The heavy rains⛈, strong gusts of wind🌪, mud, and the scary high flood water levels 🌊 brought by Typhoon Ulysses matched and even surpassed Typhoon Ondoy back then. 😔😭

This is yet another unexpected disaster and we would like to check on you guys. How is everyone?

Dear everyone,

With the rainy days and nights setting in☔️, our country already crossed beyond 40,000 COVID cases in total. 📊 And with all the sad and tiring news that are coming out, let us share some good news to all of you! 🎉

Some of the second batch of PPE sets have reached their destinations 🚚 -- in Manila, Cavite and Rizal provinces! ❤️🤗 Some are going further down south and another to the north (medyo nakakalito ano? 😂). It makes us really happy 🥰 that we are able to reach our batchmates from the provinces because the PPE supplies are more scarce there.

To our beloved donors 🤗, your generosity have traveled miles and miles away! Again, thank you very much! ✨

Kapit lang, guys. We will finish strong! 💪 Stay safe and don't forget your payong always. ☔️

Dear Archeans!

Kumusta kayo? 🤗 We just would like to share that blessings keep on coming! 😭 Shortly before we started the delivery of the second batch of PPEs, a batchmate donated 150 pcs of retractable black pens! Baka kasi mahirapang bumili due to quarantine or due to the competition brought by back to school students. We are so thankful for the thoughtfulness and support! ✨

We are also happy to have started (finally) the second batch of PPE distribution!

Good evening!

It was a bit rainy these past few days. ☔️ But if the challenging procurement did not stop us 🙅🏻‍♀️, bad weather won't hinder us too! 🙆🏻‍♂️ We officially started distribution for the second batch of PPEs! And guess what? We are doing our best to reach our batchmates outside the metro!!! 🚚

Again, we are so grateful to all of you for supporting this project. 💖 Sending a few thankful snippets from our frontliner batchmates during our first distribution. 🤗

Dear Archeans,

Someone sent us a message tonight. 📩 Hindi na namin to pahahabain kasi medyo mahaba ang laman ng sulat ni Mr. Letter Sender. 😅

Kidding aside, we do not know if it's the prolonged quarantine or maybe we are just fragile these days that the words from this letter poked straight to our hearts and dragged the emotional beings out of us. 🥺 For sure, kayo rin. 😭

Dear Archeans,

It's time for another transparency update!💸 Last April 25, we have already received a total amount of 199,401.14 pesos; majority of which was spent for the first batch of PPE sets distribution. 🚚 As of yesterday, May 29, we have received a total amount of 238164.39 pesos (see below additional contributions from our batchmates, families and friends!). 💖 We have already procured the second set of PPEs, ear relievers, and masks! ✌️

However, just to be honest with you, it is very challenging to secure the second batch of PPEs. The masks are hoarded by resellers ordering 1 million to 3 million pieces (Ano ba naman yung atin compared sa orders nila? 😭). And our supplier for the caps and non-skid/slip shoe covers doubled the price! 😔

But we know God will make a way for the second batch (and even the third!!!). ❤️ We are also exploring ways on how to reach locations outside the metro now that we will be on GCQ. 📦

Thank you so much again to everyone who donated, to those who will still donate, and to those continuously supporting this project. 🤗

Rainy evening, Archeans! ☔️

At last, after more than two weeks of delay, one of our suppliers confirmed that the KN95 masks have arrived last Friday afternoon! 😭 These will be delivered to us by next week after the holiday on Monday. 🚚 Then, we will be procuring ear relievers and hopefully, we will be able to distribute the second batch come weekend. 🤗

Please be safe especially now that there's GCQ and MECQ in several areas already. 😔

Also, Eid Mubarak to our Muslim professors and friends! 🕌

We are having a very challenging procurement and supplier hunt, but still..
