In June 2025, the Publics, Archives, and Data (PANDA) Lab of the UP School of Library and Information Studies was officially established, bringing together people, practices, and partnerships to engage archives and data in and with multiple publics. Through grounded research and sustained collaboration, the Lab began building spaces for shared inquiry and action.

The Publics, Archives, and Data (PANDA) Lab is an interdisciplinary research space at the UP School of Library and Information Studies. We bridge the intersections of publics, archives, and data and their connections to the wider politics of collective memory, justice, and civic life.
