On January 24, 2025, the walls of PUPQC’s Academic Building came alive with the vibrant energy of history, art, and patriotism as the 𝑩𝑷𝑨-𝑷𝑭𝑴 3-1’𝒔 𝑭𝒊𝒍𝒎 𝑺𝒉𝒐𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒈 was held. This event was more than a film screening—it was a heartfelt journey through the legacy of our national hero, José Rizal, and the values that continue to shape our identity as Filipinos.

The program opened with 𝑯𝒊𝒔𝒌𝒐𝒓𝒚, a thought-provoking short video that bridged the gap between Rizal’s ideals and the perspectives of today’s youth. It was a testament to how the principles of sacrifice, courage, and love for the country remain relevant in a modern world striving for justice and unity.

This was followed by the stirring narrative of 𝑬𝒙𝒊𝒍𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝑬𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚: 𝑨 𝑻𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒂 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒐, which shed light on the final chapter of Rizal’s life. Through this powerful film, we revisit the struggles of a hero misunderstood in his time but destined to leave an eternal legacy. His unwavering dedication to his ideals inspired us to reflect on our own roles in preserving and advancing his vision.

Adding a theatrical touch, 𝑴𝒔. 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒚 𝑨𝒏𝒏 𝑪𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒛𝒂 delivered a moving monologue that breathed life into Maria Clara. Her performance was a reminder of Maria Clara’s enduring significance as a symbol of sacrifice, resilience, and undying love.

The program continued with 𝑨𝒘𝒊𝒕 𝒏𝒊 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒂 𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒂, a poignant exploration of Maria Clara’s love story and its parallels to modern struggles. This film reminded us that the themes of identity, justice, and perseverance transcend time, connecting our past to our present in powerful and meaningful ways.

Finally, we were captivated by 𝑻𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑬𝒚𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑯𝒊𝒔 𝑩𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒅, a film that blended history with personal discovery. This story of Amethyst, a modern historian, challenged us to rethink how we connect with the past and what it means to truly understand love and legacy.

The event concluded with closing remarks from 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒇. 𝑭𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒔𝒄𝒐 𝑪𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒔𝒂𝒏, who left us with reflections on the enduring relevance of Rizal’s values and a call to action to honor his legacy in our daily lives.

As we look back on this inspiring day, we are filled with gratitude for everyone who made this event a success—our organizers, participants, and audience members whose enthusiasm brought the program to life. It was a day of learning, reflection, and connection, reminding us of the importance of keeping our history alive and relevant.

🌟 MISSION SPASsible: An Action-Packed Afternoon Session!🌟

Last January 20, 2025, the afternoon session of Mission SPASsible: Synergy of Public Administration Students brought a whole new level of excitement and teamwork! After a morning filled with insightful discussions, we shifted gears and put our leadership and collaboration skills to the test. 🚀

We kicked off with an engaging introduction to the Team Development Stages: Forming, Storming, and Norming, setting the stage for the highlight of the afternoon—the thrilling team-building challenges!

Through a series of interactive games and challenges, participants showcased their strategic thinking, coordination, and teamwork in high-energy activities that tested their creativity, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure. These challenges not only fostered camaraderie and teamwork but also reinforced essential leadership qualities needed in public administration.

As the session came to a close, we gathered for the awarding ceremony, recognizing the outstanding efforts of our participants. We wrapped up the day with heartfelt closing remarks from Asst. Prof. Melanie F. Bactasa, reminding us that teamwork and collaboration are the foundation of good governance.

🌟 MISSION SPASsible: A Powerful Morning Session in the Books! 🌟

Last January 20, 2025, we officially launched Mission SPASsible: Synergy of Public Administration Students, and what an inspiring start it was! 🚀

From the moment participants walked in, the energy and enthusiasm were undeniable. We began with a heartfelt welcome from our esteemed faculty, setting the tone for a day dedicated to leadership, teamwork, and collaboration in the field of Public Administration.

One of the highlights of the morning was the insightful talk by Mr. Gabriel Tugbo from the Quezon City Youth Development Office, who shared valuable lessons on team building and coordination for good governance. His discussion emphasized the importance of effective communication, trust, and collective effort in fostering strong leadership—qualities that every aspiring public servant must develop.

Participants actively engaged in the question-and-answer session, raising thought-provoking points and exchanging ideas that deepened their understanding of public service and organizational teamwork. It was a testament to the passion and drive of our BPAyers to become catalysts for positive change!

Adding to the excitement, we also witnessed an incredible performance from AKN, bringing energy and creativity to our event. It was a refreshing way to celebrate our shared commitment to cooperation and unity in public administration.
