Maraming salamat sa DOST- SEI Indie-Siyensya sa pagkilala bilang 𝑩𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝑺𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒏𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒚 sa 9th Indie-Siyensya! 🥳

🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻

Synopsis: In Pateros, the soil is more than land—it is a vital ingredient in salted egg making, a tradition rooted in culture and identity. Tabi-tabi po traces how this practice has endured, even as urbanization transforms the community around it. It looks at how science, superstition, and survival come together in the famed “Pateros-style” mud-packed eggs. By telling this story, the film reveals how soil is not only material but memory, heritage, and hope for the future.

Synopsis: What once belonged to folklore now reveals its scientific wonder. Punso takes a closer look at termite mounds, showing how these structures regulate soil and sustain ecosystems. The film bridges superstition and science, connecting cultural traditions with ecological truths. In doing so, it uncovers how even the smallest creatures can engineer life in ways we rarely see.
