From February 22 to 25, 1986, over two million Filipinos assembled on Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) to peacefully protest against the injustices and maltreatment they experienced during the Marcos regime. The People Power Revolution was a watershed moment in Philippine history, breaking free from the shackles of dictatorship and restoring newfound hope and freedom to the Filipino people after years of oppression and brutality.

The People Power Revolution is a moment in Philippine history that serves as a reminder that we, the Filipino people, are able to resist unjustifiable acts and the abuse of power. Together as one, we have the ability to call for change for our country’s future.

People mainly witness envision, bloodshed, and chaos these days. Nowadays, being nice is automatically seen as being "weak" or "sensitive." When in fact, acts of generosity, compassion, and kindness will unite us in order to put a stop to violence and extend light to regions of the world that we have never even set foot on. Because of violence, we lose sight of who we are. Let's be kind to one another and be grateful that we are the young and have warm blood coursing through our veins that will enable us to seize the day!

Acting out a fool's plan to end violence with violence is all it is. We must demonstrate to the world that what we fight for goes beyond fists, hollering, and weapons as we defend our women and children. We must show to the entire world that woman is our weapon—someone who cannot be thwarted, wiped off the face of history, or simply discarded. Let's prove to the world that "woman" means more than just a word!

It exhausts us only to consider the struggles that women must endure in order to just survive. Despite this, we must continue because being a woman entails more than only overcoming hurdles and breaking down boundaries. Being a woman means radiating power and knowledge. We are considerably stronger than we realize.

Woman doesn't simply represent one individual fighting for justice or one woman demanding to be heard. Woman means people, people who are heard, women who move mountains, and femininity, an unbreakable connection and link that some people only possess. Women have a special bond since we all experience the same highs and lows, which makes being a woman and womanhood inextricable.

Truth does not always win out, nor does good always triumph. But despite this, we shouldn't let it impede us fron recognizing the color in the black-and-white world that our reality has forced upon us. We are the flame running after the shadow of midnight; we are the light preventing everyone from being overtaken by the darkness. We were chosen to unveil the concealed! So let's not give up on ourselves or others around us.

Children, innocent children, and young people 👧🏻 🧒🏽without a thought are being beaten mercilessly just for being. Women have screamed at the top of their voices 🗣 and scaled the tallest mountains 🗻 since the dawn 🌅 of time ⏳, yet not a single word has ever been heard👂🏼

Let's start using "we" instead of "I" 👥 when we mingle our words. Sounds better, don't you think 💁‍♀️? A thousand lambs 🐑 cannot be silenced by one voice. ONE IS POWERLESS TO COMBAT THE MANY! 🫂
