🌅 Gumising nang maaga at bumiyahe mula Quezon City papuntang Cavite para mahabol ang 9:00 AM Saturday Part-Time Mentoring para sa mga committed business partners ng AFFI.

Hindi man laging madali ang mag-balance ng work, business, family, at personal commitments, pero kapag malinaw ang purpose at commitment mo, makakahanap ka talaga ng paraan. 💪

At pagkatapos ng mentoring, excited naman akong makasama ang family para makapag-celebrate ng birthday ng aking brother-in-law. 🎂❤️

💡 Lesson: Hindi kailangang isuko ang isang bagay para makamit ang isa pa. With proper time management, discipline, and commitment, puwedeng pagsabay-sabayin ang career, business, at family.

Saturday is not just a rest day—it's also an opportunity to grow, learn, serve, and spend time with the people who matter. 🙏

❓ “Kailangan ba mag-resign sa trabaho para gawin ang OBA?”

Isa ito sa mga frequently asked questions na natatanggap ko.

My answer based on my personal experience:

Hindi naman kailangan.

I am currently working as a Mechanical Engineer in a private company, and I also do OBA part-time during my available time.

For me, the key is proper time management.

I make sure that my regular work responsibilities remain a priority, while I dedicate some of my available time to learning and working on OBA.

Instead of making a major career decision immediately, you can first:

✅ Learn and understand how it works
✅ Check if it fits your schedule
✅ Develop the necessary skills
✅ Start gradually and consistently
✅ Evaluate whether it aligns with your personal goals

Hindi lahat ng opportunity kailangang simulan sa resignation.

Sometimes, you can start by simply learning, exploring, and giving yourself the opportunity to discover something new.

May preparation din bago humarap sa mga learners. 😊

Before starting my OBA training, I make sure na:

💻 Laptop – checked and ready
📶 Internet connection – tested
💡 Lighting – clear and okay
🍽️ Dinner – done
🧠 Mindset – ready to learn, share, and inspire

Minsan, hindi nakikita ng iba ang preparation behind every training session.

Pero para sa akin, showing up prepared is part of the commitment.

Kahit pagod after work, kapag alam mong may mga taong naghihintay matuto at may kaunting bagay kang maibabahagi, worth it ang preparation. 🙏

Hindi kailangan perfect. Ang importante, prepared, consistent, at willing matuto.

From learner… to someone who now shares what I’ve learned. 🌱

FROM FARMER TO ENGINEER… AND NOW, SHARING A NEW JOURNEY 🌱

Hindi naging madali ang journey ko.

At kung makikita mo ako ngayon, baka hindi mo maiisip kung saan ako nagsimula.

Former Farmer. Working Student. Delivery Boy. Driver. Engineer. Husband. Father. Employee. Entrepreneur. And now, MCM.

Pero bago ang lahat ng 'yan, isa lang akong simpleng batang tumutulong sa pamilya.

👨‍🌾 Elementary hanggang High School

Lumaki akong tumutulong sa mga gawain sa bahay at sa bukid.

Maaga kong natutunan na walang shortcut sa buhay.

Kung gusto mong may maabot, kailangan mong matutong magsikap.

🎓 College Days

Nung college ako, naging working student ako.

Nagsimula ako bilang delivery boy, at kalaunan naging driver ng sasakyang ginagamit sa pagde-deliver ng tinapay.

Habang nagtatrabaho, ipinagpatuloy ko ang pag-aaral.

Hindi naging madali, pero pinanghawakan ko ang pangarap na makatapos.

At dumating ang araw na nakapagtapos ako ng college at nakapasa sa Mechanical Engineer board examination.

Pero hindi doon nagtapos ang laban.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Para sa Pamilya

Habang nagsisimula akong magtrabaho, isa rin sa mga naging priority ko ang makatulong sa mga kapatid ko para makapag-aral at magkaroon din sila ng magandang future.

Nung single pa ako, unti-unti rin akong nakapag-ipon at nakabili ng mga gamit na pinaghirapan ko.

Pero isang araw…

🔥 Nasunog ang apartment namin.

At maraming bagay na pinaghirapan kong ipundar ang nawala.

Masakit.

Pero natutunan ko na hindi lahat ng bagay na mawala sa atin ay dahilan para tumigil.

Bumangon ulit ako.

At sa paglipas ng panahon, nakapagpatayo rin ako ng sariling bahay.

💼 30 YEARS IN THE ENGINEERING INDUSTRY

Ngayon, mahigit 30 years na akong nagtatrabaho sa isang Engineering firm sa Metro Manila.

Sa loob ng 30 years, marami akong naipon…

Hindi lang experience.

Hindi lang memories.

Kundi pati… utang. 😅

Kaya habang tumatagal, mas lalo kong naiisip:

Ano pa kaya ang pwede kong gawin para magkaroon ako ng ibang options sa buhay?

Sinubukan ko ang iba't ibang bagay.

Traditional business.

Buy and sell.

Stock market.

Iba't ibang paraan para matuto at magkaroon ng additional opportunities.

Then came COVID-19.

Isang malaking challenge para sa marami sa atin.

Pero kahit mahirap, pinili kong lumaban.

Hindi ako sumuko sa mga pangarap ko.

🌱 UNTIL I DISCOVERED OBA

More than 5 years ago, dumating sa buhay ko ang OBA.

At hindi ko masasabi na overnight nagbago ang lahat.

Hindi ganun ang totoong buhay.

Ang nangyari, nagising ang mga pangarap na matagal ko nang natutulog.

Nakita ko na may mga bagay pa pala akong gustong matutunan.

May mga skills pa pala akong pwedeng i-develop.

At may mga pangarap pa pala akong gustong abutin.

Kaya nagsimula akong matuto.

Nag-attend ng trainings.

Naglaan ng oras.

Minsan puyat.

Minsan pagod.

May sacrifices.

May doubts.

May mga araw na gusto mo ring huminto.

Pero pinili kong maging consistent.

At malaking bagay din ang tulong ng mga coaches at mentors na nag-guide sa akin along the way.

After more than 5 years, masasabi kong isa ako sa mga taong natulungan ng system na ito sa sarili kong journey.

Today, I'm grateful to be part of the company as an MCM, and now I'm also given the opportunity to share the things I've learned.

Hindi dahil perfect na ang journey ko.

Hindi dahil wala na akong challenges.

Kundi dahil gusto kong ipakita na:

MAY PAG-ASA SA BAWAT TAONG HANDA PA RING MATUTO AT SUMUBOK.

Kung dati, farmer ako.

Naging working student.

Naging delivery boy.

Naging driver.

Naging Engineer.

Naging husband at father.

Naging employee for 30 years.

At ngayon, patuloy pa rin akong natututo at nangangarap.

Baka hindi pa huli ang lahat para sa’yo.

Hindi mo kailangang baguhin ang buong buhay mo agad.

Magsimula ka lang sa isang bagay:

Matutong muli.
Sumubok muli.
Maniwala muli.

Because sometimes, the biggest opportunity in life doesn't come when everything is perfect.

It comes when you decide not to give up. 💪

Hindi Ka Tamad. Baka Kailangan Mo Lang ng Malinaw na “WHY.” 💭

Baka hindi ka tamad.
Baka kailangan mo lang maalala kung bakit ka nagsimula.

Napansin ko rin ito sa sarili ko bilang Engineer sa umaga at OBA onliner sa gabi.

Pagod pagkatapos ng trabaho. Minsan, ang gusto ko na lang ay humiga, magpahinga, at mag-scroll sa cellphone. 😅

Pero may isang mindset lesson akong natutunan:

Kapag malinaw sa’yo kung bakit mo gustong mag-improve, mas nagiging meaningful ang bawat maliit na effort.

Hindi mo kailangang maging motivated araw-araw.

Minsan, ang kailangan mo lang ay balikan ang dahilan kung bakit ka nagsimula.

💙 Para sa pamilya.
🎯 Para sa personal growth.
📚 Para matuto ng bagong skills.
🌱 Para magkaroon ng mas maraming opportunities sa future.
💪 Para maging better version ng sarili mo.

Hindi kailangang malaking step agad.

Kahit 30 minutes lang.
Kahit isang bagong skill.
Kahit isang maliit na action bawat araw.

Ang importante, patuloy kang gumagalaw.

Tandaan mo:

Motivation can get you started, but consistency keeps you moving forward.

Pagod ka? Magpahinga.
Nadapa ka? Bumangon.
Nabagal ka? Okay lang.

Pero huwag mong kalimutang bumalik at magpatuloy.

Small progress is still progress. 🌱

Keep learning. Keep growing. Keep moving forward. 🙏💪

WHAT MADE ME INTERESTED IN OBA? 💻📱

I’m Marcelino Pascua, a private employee, a Mechanical Engineer by profession, and currently a Manager in a private engineering company in Metro Manila.

With a busy career and responsibilities, I became interested in OBA because it can be done online and part-time—perfect for someone like me who has a regular job.

I can work on it during my free time, at home after office hours, or even during my day off. May mga pagkakataon din na uma-attend ako ng training sa gabi, and sometimes, I get the opportunity to share what I’ve learned with our Business Partners. 🙏

What I really appreciate about OBA is that it gives me an opportunity to build additional skills and a potential Plan B while I’m still working. My goal is to continuously learn and develop something that I can still use in the future, especially when I eventually retire.
