Mr. Jim Guiao Punzalan is a renowned photojournalist who has worked in the industry since 1998. What is notable about Mr. Punzalan’s career was that he has worked in three major publications in the Philippines in a row – from the Manila Times for three (3) years as a correspondent, to the Philippine Daily Inquirer for twelve (12) years as a photojournalist, until he got promoted as he worked in the Manila Bulletin for three (3) years as its Senior and Chief Photographer. Due to his contribution to the industry, he became one of the finalists in the Asian Awards and the Catholic Mass Media Awards through his previous photographs, deeming him highly regarded among Filipino Photojournalists.
Currently, he is the Chief Photographer of REDSKINS Images, carrying with him his artistry in photography through his more than a decade-old experience in the field of photojournalism.

Renée Byer is a Pulitzer prize winning photojournalist who presented in TedTalk regarding the storytelling aspect of photography.
According to her, she was interested in being a photojournalist the moment she held a pair of binoculars while she played - consumed by her desire to be an eyewitness and with this immense need to share what she saw to the world, she reiterated that photojournalism has the power of the enduring still image to inform and bring understanding to issues.
