CSE-PR NEW RESOLUTION (5-Year Rule): EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2026

The new CSC Resolution No. 2600729 on the Career Service Eligibilityโ€“Preference Rating (CSE-PR) is scheduled to take effect on OCTOBER 1, 2026.

Ayon sa CSC Office Memorandum No. 41, s. 2026, ang resolution ay nakatakdang mailathala sa The Philippine Star sa SEPTEMBER 16, 2026.

IF THE SEPTEMBER 16 PUBLICATION PUSHES THROUGH, magiging effective ang bagong resolution sa OCTOBER 1, 2026, alinsunod sa 15-day effectivity provision nito.

Isa sa pinakamahalagang pagbabago sa bagong guidelines ay ang pagbaba ng required aggregate government service mula 10 YEARS tungo sa 5 YEARS para sa mga covered government workers.

MAKAKAHABOL PA ANG MARCH 2026 CSE TAKERS

Para sa mga March 2026 CSE takers na kabilang sa covered JOCOSC6 category, may posibilidad pa silang makapag-file under the new 5-year rule. (Subject to CSC verification/application processing)

Ang March 8, 2026 CSE ay pasok sa examination coverage dahil ang bagong resolution ay tumutukoy sa CSE beginning March 3, 2024.

Bukod dito, ang March 2026 CSE results ay inilabas noong MAY 5, 2026. Dahil ang CSE-PR application ay kailangang ma-file within six months from the release of CSE results, ang filing period ay umaabot hanggang NOVEMBER 5, 2026, subject to the applicable CSC rules and requirements.

Ibig sabihin, kung matutuloy ang September 16 publication at magiging effective ang resolution sa October 1, magkakaroon pa ng panahon ang qualified March 2026 takers na mag-file bago ang kanilang six-month deadline sa November. (Subject to CSC verification/application processing)

IMPORTANT:

Hindi automatic na qualified ang lahat ng March 2026 CSE takers o lahat ng may 5 years government service.

Kailangan pa ring matugunan ang lahat ng requirements ng CSE-PR, kabilang ang covered employment category, required CSE rating, aggregate government service, performance rating, applicable examination date, at complete documentary requirements.
