๐Ÿ“ข GPTA Meeting and Election of New Officers

San Isidro National High School successfully conducted its General Parents-Teachers Association (GPTA) Meeting and Election of Officers for the next three-year term. The activity served as an avenue to strengthen collaboration between the school and parents in promoting quality education and student success.

Parents actively participated in the discussion of important school programs, policies, and plans for the School Year 2026โ€“2027. The election of new GPTA officers marked another milestone in fostering shared leadership, accountability, and community involvement in supporting the schoolโ€™s goals and aspirations.

During the activity, they correctly practiced the โ€œDuck, Cover, and Holdโ€ safety procedure to ensure proper response during an earthquake. The drill enhanced their preparedness, enabling them to react calmly and responsibly in the event of a real seismic emergency. San Isidro National High School successfully conducted its Homeroom PTA Meeting and Parentsโ€™ Orientation for School Year 2026โ€“2027, bringing together parents, advisers, and stakeholders in a shared commitment to quality education and learner success.

The activity served as an avenue to orient parents on the various Department of Education (DepEd) policies, programs, and guidelines that will be implemented throughout the school year. Discussions focused on the three term school calendar, assessment, grading system and recognition, school policies, strengthening home-school partnerships, promoting learner welfare, ensuring school safety, and fostering active parental involvement in the educational journey of every student.

As part of her commitment to building meaningful connections with stakeholders, our new School Head, Maโ€™am Merly Banquillo Magbanua ,paid a courtesy visit to the Barangay Captain of Barangay San Isidro, Pontevedra, Kap. Alan Moguad. San Isidro National High School Opens SY 2026โ€“2027, Welcomes New School Head

SAN ISIDRO, Pontevedra โ€” San Isidro National High School (SINHS) officially opened School Year 2026โ€“2027 with enthusiasm and renewed commitment to quality education as students, teachers, parents, and stakeholders gathered to begin another academic year.

Guided by its vision of being โ€œA Community of Learning,โ€ the school welcomed learners from various grade levels and encouraged them to embrace the opportunities and challenges that the new school year brings. The opening of classes marked the start of another journey of academic excellence, character formation, and holistic development for all students.

A highlight of this yearโ€™s opening was the warm welcome extended to the schoolโ€™s new head, Maโ€™am Merly Banquillo Magbanua , who officialy assumes leadership of San Isidro National High School. Faculty members, staff, learners, parents, and community stakeholders expressed their support and optimism as she begins her tenure as school head.

In her message, Maโ€™am Magbanua emphasized the importance of kindness, collaboration, dedication, and shared responsibility in creating a learning environment where every student can thrive. She also encouraged the school community to work together in pursuing excellence and strengthening the schoolโ€™s culture of learning and service.

Teachers and personnel likewise reaffirmed their commitment to providing quality, learner-centered education and ensuring a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students.

Day 5 - June 5, 2026

As we reach the final day of Brigada Eskwela 2026, we reflect on a week of cooperation, generosity, and shared commitment in preparing our school for the opening of classes. Through the collective efforts of our volunteers and stakeholders, our school has become more ready, safe, and conducive to learning for all our learners.

In line with this yearโ€™s theme, โ€œBayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman,โ€ we extend our sincere appreciation to all our partners, stakeholders, teachers and staff, parents, and students who generously shared their time, effort, resources, and support throughout this undertaking. Your dedication and spirit of bayanihan have been instrumental in making Brigada Eskwela 2026 a success. We would also like to express our special gratitude to the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Brgy. San Isidro for their generous donation and active volunteer service.

As we conclude this yearโ€™s Brigada Eskwela, may the spirit of volunteerism, unity, and community partnership continue to inspire us as we work together in providing a nurturing and conducive learning environment for every Isidorian learner.
