Igniting Mathematics Learning Through Technology: NNCHS Welcomes KHAN MathAIgnite Monitoring Team
NABUNTURAN, DAVAO DE ORO – Innovation and education came together as Nabunturan National Comprehensive High School (NNCHS) warmly welcomed the KHAN MathAIgnite Visit and Monitoring Team on September 30, 2026, at the school's JHS ICT Hub, reaffirming its commitment to transforming Mathematics learning through technology.
The monitoring visit was led by Ma’am Lea Janice S. Reyes, ADB Project Manager, and Dr. Renato N. Pacpakin, Education Program Supervisor (EPS) in Mathematics, to observe and assess the implementation of the MathAIgnite Program. Their presence highlighted the importance of leveraging digital tools and innovative teaching strategies to enhance learners’ mathematical skills and overall academic performance.
During the visit, the team interacted with enthusiastic MathAIgnite learners who actively participated in various technology-assisted learning activities. The learners demonstrated not only their mathematical understanding but also their growing confidence in using digital platforms as learning tools. The monitoring team witnessed firsthand how technology is being integrated into classroom instruction to make Mathematics more engaging, accessible, and relevant to students.
A key highlight of the activity was the classroom observation facilitated by Mr. Dave A. Remerata, the school's MathAIgnite Implementing Teacher. Through carefully crafted lessons and interactive learning experiences, Mr. Remerata showcased how digital resources can support differentiated instruction and foster active learner participation. Students were observed collaborating, solving mathematical problems, and utilizing technology to deepen their understanding of concepts.
Beyond monitoring classroom implementation, the visit created opportunities for meaningful conversations among learners, teachers, and education leaders.
The activity underscored a shared vision among educators and stakeholders: to strengthen Mathematics education by empowering learners with the skills and confidence needed in an increasingly digital world. By embracing technology-enhanced learning, NNCHS continues to create opportunities for students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a genuine appreciation for Mathematics.
As the visit concluded, it left a powerful message that educational innovation thrives when supported by dedication, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence. The successful implementation of the MathAIgnite Program at NNCHS serves as a testament to the school's unwavering pursuit of quality education and learner empowerment.
Indeed, when innovation meets dedication, Mathematics learning comes alive, inspiring young minds to explore, discover, and excel.
