Baguhin na natin ang mind set.

1. Wag gawing emergency fund ang mga magulang

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗧𝗛: No, your total savings is NOT being taxed. Only the interest or “tubo” your money earns gets a 20% tax.

Your ₱100,000 is still ₱100,000.
But if it earns ₱6,000 in interest, that’s when the 20% tax applies.

Quick math:
₱6,000 interest × 20% = ₱1,200 tax
You get to keep ₱4,800 of your earnings.

-------------------------------------

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬% 𝗧𝗮𝘅 (𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁, 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗻𝗼𝘄):

Cooperative Time Deposits – if you’re a member of a registered coop, your savings might earn dividends tax-free.

Pag-IBIG MP2 Savings – government-backed, 5-year term, tax-free dividends (subject to availability).

Stocks & Mutual Funds – gains here have separate tax rules (e.g. capital gains tax, stock transaction tax), but not the blanket 20% on savings interest.

Digital wallets/investment apps – some fintechs offer savings-like products with varied tax implications (check each one carefully).

Life Insurance with Investment (e.g. VULs) – long-term growth, with built-in life protection, and not taxed like bank deposits.

--------------------------------------------

So… what now?
You don’t need to pull your money out of the bank.

Diversify: Consider splitting your money across bank, Stock Market, Mutuals Funds, PDF, MP2, coop, investment apps, etc.

Ask questions: Not all "savings" are created equal. Some grow quietly, some are taxed loudly.

“Where else can my money grow better?”
“What other options are safer and smarter?”

Don’t panic—but also, don’t park all your dreams in one taxed bucket.

Let’s talk. Let’s learn. Let’s grow.
Here —we break down big changes in real talk.

If mag Time Deposit ka lang din man, e invest mo nalang yan sa other vehicles like Digital banks, Premium Deposit Fund, Mutual Funds - bond fund or equity fund, etc. Kung ang main purpose mo naman pala ay tumubo ang iyong pera over the years.

Bank is only good for emergency fund & business transactions, not for growing your money.

📌May kasama na syang life insurance for income replacement or protection para sa family just in case may nangyari sa policy holder.

📌Good as cash sya pagdating ng maturity, So pwede kang mag-withdraw gamit ang iyong visa card.

📌Covered ka kahit beyond 60 years old ka na, as long as buhay kapa.

📌Maari kang magkaroon nito sa halagang P88(depends on age) a day mas mahal pa ang 1pc chicken joy na may drinks & fries

👍🏻Sinu ang pwedeng maka avail nito?

Lahat ng nasa 10-60 years old mayaman man o mahirap. Nasa ibang bansa ka man or nandito sa Pilipinas covered ka ni KAISER!

Kailan ba dapat mag simula sa HMO or Healthcare.

1. Habang Bata
2. Habang may trabaho

Especially kapag more than 60 years old ka na.

Baka scam yan?

Sabi ko naman, if these big companies put their names and trusted IMG, why wouldn't I?

When other companies teaches you how to spend and get into debts. IMG teaches you how to become your own money manager, to value your hard-earned money by saving and investing, how to have proper protection for yourself and for your family, and most of all teaches you how to become a blessing by sharing the gift of financial literacy not only to your family and friends but also to all the people around you.
