Alabel Central Integrated SPED Center Champions Learning Recovery with ARAL Program

The Alabel Central Integrated SPED Center (ACISC) has officially implemented the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program, a flagship national initiative by the Department of Education (DepEd) designed to bridge significant learning gaps in foundational skills. This program, established under Republic Act No. 12028, serves as the primary intervention for students from Kindergarten to Grade 10 who are struggling in essential subject areas.

Core Focus and Objectives
Reading: Intensive literacy interventions for "frustrated" and low-emerging readers.
* Mathematics: Structured numeracy sessions to improve foundational math competencies.

Strong partnership between the school and the community. The administration conducted orientations to empower parents, ensuring they can reinforce lessons at home through tools like reading logs and numeracy games. This collective effort aligns with the school's long-standing tradition of excellence in inclusive education and stakeholder engagement.
Through the ARAL Program, ACISC remains committed to the goal that no learner is left behind, providing the necessary tools for every student to regain their academic momentum.

Small steps today, big dreams for tomorrow 🎓✨

The 70th Graduation Ceremony of Alabel Central Integrated SPED Center proudly celebrated its Grade 6 completers—young learners who have shown courage, growth, and determination as they take their next big step to junior high school.

Graced by our very own Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Ruth L. Estacio and CID Chief Dr. Donna S. Panes, the ceremony was further inspired by the heartfelt keynote message of distinguished alumna Abigail S. Alaba-Mangampo, JD.

From innocent beginnings to promising futures, today we celebrate not just completion—but the bright journey ahead.

Congratulations, Batch 2026!

The Grade 12 Graduating Class of 2026 of Alabel Central Integrated SPED Center (ACISC) successfully conducted their Mountaineering Cum Tree Planting Cum Community Engagement Outreach Program— an activity that beautifully merged physical education, environmental responsibility, and social involvement into one meaningful experience.

As part of their competency in Physical Education, our Grade 12 learners embraced mountaineering not just as an outdoor adventure, but as a test of endurance, teamwork, and resilience. Beyond the trail, they fulfilled their environmental duty through a tree planting activity in compliance with the Municipality of Alabel ordinance requiring graduating students to plant trees — leaving a legacy that will grow for years to come.

The activity was made possible through the strong support and collaboration of the Local Government Unit of Alabel, headed by Hon. Mayor Lilibeth "Ybing" Salarda, MPA, through the office of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), the Alabel Municipal Police Station, and Barangay Council of Barangay Paraiso under the leadership of Brgy. Captain Julito D. Lacay, who generously opened the trail, campsite, outreach venue, and tree planting sites for our learners.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the ACISC School admin headed by sir Ferdinand Simon and Sir Marco Arturo Cavan for allowing this one of a kind experience. Thank you also our ever-supportive parents who ensured the safe travel of their children back and forth, to the Senior High School teachers for initiating and facilitating this holistic activity, and most especially to the Graduating Class of 2026 for their enthusiasm, discipline, and active participation.

This event reminds us that education goes beyond the four corners of the classroom — it climbs mountains, plants hope, and builds stronger communities.

“When we take care of nature, we strengthen our health; when we serve our community, we grow as a society.”
