Introducing: Pastor Ruther Urquia

We are excited to welcome Rev. Pastor Ruther Urquia as one of our plenary speakers for ICTG 2024! Pastor Ruther is not only a passionate pastor but also a highly talented ventriloquist. His remarkable talent in ventriloquism earned him national fame as a grand finalist on the first season of Pilipinas Got Talent, where he captivated audiences and judges alike with his creativity and skill. He has since been recognized as one of the top three ventriloquists in the Philippines by the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Encyclopedia of Performing Arts.

In addition to his performance career, Pastor Ruther is a dynamic Christian vlogger, using his platform to share powerful biblical teachings and life lessons that resonate with people from all walks of life. His digital ministry has reached a wide audience, blending modern tools with timeless truths to spread the gospel.

Pastor Ruther’s natural gift for comedy led him to co-found Insanithink Comedy Club, where he introduced Christian-themed comedy specials that entertain while delivering spiritual messages. One of their standout shows, "Kuya Pastor", features Pastor Ruther using humor to share messages about loving God and living a Christ-centered life. His engaging speaking style makes it easy for him to address topics such as faith, purpose, and God’s love, using comedy as a dynamic tool to communicate Christian values.

As an Associate Pastor at Faithlife South, Pastor Ruther is dedicated to empowering individuals and families through faith-based mentorship. He is also an active participant in the Partners in Christ Ministries in Mission Alliance (PICMMA), where he advances the gospel and helps communities grow in Christ. His involvement in global Christian events, such as the Fourth Lausanne Congress, underscores his commitment to the global mission of the church.
