Looc National High School - Senior High School would like to thank the Samahang Visaya 1977 Tablas Island Chapter, led by Hon. Jether Gaa DeJuan (former Looc NHS PTA President), for their hard work and teamwork in making this possible.

Sir Erwin Marquez and Looc NHS also appreciate everyone who gave their time and effort. It was the spirit of bayanihan that made this success possible.

UPCAT 2026 APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN for incoming new first-year students for AY 2026-2027.

Applicants must fill out and submit their Form 1 in the online portal from 03 March to 31 March 2025 to take the exam on 2 and 3 August 2025.

Current Grade 11 students this SY 2024-2025 who will graduate senior high school by SY 2025-2026, or current Grade 12 students who have not taken the UPCAT in the previous cycles are eligible to apply.

School officials must fill out and confirm their students in the Form 2A portal from 03 March to 04 April 2025, for applicants to receive their test permit in July 2025.

Applicants must then revisit the portal after the exam, starting 04 August until 25 August 2025, to fill out their grades for Grades 8, 9, 10, and 11 in the Form 2B portal. They must also submit the hard copy certified true copy of their SF-10 or Student Permanent Record to the UP Office of Admissions located inside UP Diliman, Quezon City.

Applicants can access the online application portal at https://upcat2026online.up.edu.ph/.

Application is not on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, please make sure to submit your application online by the deadline.

The list of qualified candidates for the STE Admission Exam for S.Y. 2025-2026 is now out!

Check the list and take the next step towards joining the Science, Technology, and Engineering (STE) Program at Looc National High School.

The exam will be held on March 15, 2025, at the STE Building, Looc National High School. (For SDA applicants, the exam will be on March 16, Sunday).

On February 27, 2025, LNHS received 8 notebooks with keyboards for our Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) learners. The turnover was made by SDO Romblon, represented by Sir Gerard Malaya, and accepted by Asst. Principal II Sherwin G. Fabiala.

This donation will help ADM learners who face challenges like distance or medical conditions. More resources are coming to support these students.

Congratulations to our Senior High School learners for their outstanding participation in STEM Day and Research Final Defense! The event, led by MT II Richard D. Garcia and STEM Coordinator Daniel Andrew N. Gaa, showcased amazing student-made robots and science games as part of 'Project RICH: Robotics, Innovation, Creativity, and Hardware.' Special thanks to the Looc LGU, headed by Mayor Lisette M. Arboleda, for their support in providing Arduino kits for the students. Highlights included innovative robotic projects like DocuMed, LIMPYO, and RHADSETTI, as well as a magic show and creative science booths. Thanks to everyone who made this event a success, including Principal IV Erwin Marquez!
