Mariano Peralta National High School, through the Special Program in Sports (SPS), successfully conducted Kahapsay ug Siguridad, an interactive dialogue that strengthened the partnership between students and law enforcement in promoting a safe, secure, and peaceful school environment.

In collaboration with the Malita Police Station Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD), learners gained valuable insights on campus safety, conflict resolution, and responsible engagement with authorities.

The Mariano Peralta NHS Teaching and Non-Teaching Personnel as the organizers of PISTA (Paligsahan, Indak, Sining at Talento): Intramurals 2026 wish to express our deepest appreciation to Councilor Estefanie "Esma" Bautista for her generous sponsorship of the medals and trophies for this year's PISTA Intramural games.

Parents of Grade 7 learners gathered today for the conduct of โ€œParenting GEN ALPHA: Building Resilient Families in the Digital Age,โ€ through Family and Life Apostolate, an initiative designed to equip parents with the knowledge and skills needed to guide their children in a rapidly evolving digital world. Under the supervision of Maโ€™am Elvira T. Failma, the program highlights the vital role of parents in fostering resilience, responsible technology use, and positive family relationships among todayโ€™s generation of learners.

The initiative will be rolled out to parents of grades 7 to 12 learners, with each grade level participating according to its designated schedule.

The celebration of Science Month at Mariano Peralta National High School (MPNHS) continued today through an exciting classroom-based Science Month activity held across different grade levels.
As part of the Science Departmentโ€™s every-Friday classroom celebration, learners took on the challenge of โ€œSPELL-E-MAZING!โ€ An engaging spelling activity designed to strengthen studentsโ€™ mastery of important scientific vocabulary.
Instead of ordinary spelling words, the learners spelled key scientific terms drawn from the competencies and topics covered in their respective Science grade levels. From scientific concepts and processes to technical terms, students were challenged to spell, recognize, and understand the language of Science.
The activity transformed the classroom into a fun learning environment where knowledge, confidence, teamwork, and scientific literacy came together. Every correctly spelled word was not only a pointโ€”it was another step toward becoming a more scientifically literate learner.

Parents and guardians gathered for the first SPTA general assembly and the distribution of report cards for the term 1 of S.Y. 2026-2027.

Spearheaded by Principal IV, Elvira T. Failma, together with SHS Head Teacher III, Josie R. Dela Cruz, and the rest of the members of the SPTA executive committee.

The said assembly aims to address the concerns of both parents and teachers concerning the different programs and policies implemented and the school, as well as to build stronger connections and relationships with the schoolโ€™s stakeholders.
