Today, we were honored to learn from our distinguished speaker, Dr. Rona C. Apolinario, PhD, Program Head of the PhD in Educational Research and Management of NMSCST, who delivered a powerful and enlightening session on Ethical Standards in Research Publication: Informed Consent and Vulnerability.

Dr. Apolinario reminded us that ethics goes beyond compliance.
One of her resonating insights was:

“Research becomes unethical not when rules are broken, but when people are harmed, disrespected, or excluded despite the rules being followed.”

Her message strengthened our purpose as researchers—
not just to publish, but to protect dignity, uphold integrity, and ensure justice in the pursuit of knowledge. 🔍📚
