|| Waste and water are two of the most critical issues faced by the country today. Through the Waste and Water Summit, co-organized by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and DILG Philippines, local government units and other developmental partners are urged to undertake concrete action to address waste management and water security issues in close coordination with the DENR and DILG.

Here are some of the solutions and ways forward presented during the Summit 👇

Mechanics:

1. The contest is open to all individuals residing in the Municipality of Salvador
2. Participants must like Salvador Solid Waste Management page Before Submitting their Entry
3. Each Contestant must submit one (1) entry only
4. The Contestants may use Photoshop, Paint or any related software application for digital poster & slogan making
5. The poster & slogan must be in an A3 size (11.7"x16.5") (300DPI resolution) in a landscape and JEPG/PNG format
6. Deadline of submission of entries is on or before June 27, 2023 ( 12:00nn) via the MEO email address at [email protected]. Include the contestant's Full name, complete address, contact number, s*x, age, & scanned photo ID

7. The slogan may be written in english, tagalog, local dialects, or hugot lines related to the theme.
8. The poster & slogan must illustrate, interpret and emphasize the theme: No to waste:

9. The digital poster & slogan will be judge according to the ff. criteria:
- creativity - 40%
- originality - 20%
- relevance to the theme - 30%
- overall impact - 10%

10. The prizes/awards to all winners(1st prize, 2nd prize , & 3rd prize) will depend on the output and all participants will receive certificate of participation & consolation prizes

11. All submitted entries shall be considered as properties of LGU Salvador
