𝙎𝘿𝙊 𝙎𝙩𝙤. 𝙏𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙨 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙬𝙖 𝙖𝙣𝙜 “𝙎𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙙 𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙣” 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙢𝙜𝙖 B𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙩𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙖

Isinagawa noong Setyembre 26, 2026 ang “Sikad ng Kampeon: Tungo sa Kahandaan at Kahusayan ng mga Batang Tomasino sa Athletics,” isang programa ng Schools Division Office (SDO) of Sto. Tomas City na nakatuon sa pagpapaunlad ng kakayahan ng mga mag-aaral sa athletics.
Sa pamamagitan ng programa, binigyang-diin ang kahalagahan ng tuloy-tuloy na pagsasanay, disiplina, at wastong paghahanda sa paghubog ng mga batang atleta. Nagbibigay rin ito ng pagkakataong higit pang malinang ang kanilang kasanayan at tiwala sa sarili habang pinaghahandaan ang mga susunod na palaro.
Bahagi ang Sikad ng Kampeon ng mga pagsisikap ng SDO Sto. Tomas City na suportahan ang mga mag-aaral na may interes at potensiyal sa palakasan. Kinikilala ng dibisyon na ang athletics ay daan hindi lamang sa paglinang ng lakas at husay, kundi pati sa pagkatuto ng pagpupursigi, pakikipagtulungan, at paggalang sa kapwa atleta.
Sa pagpapatuloy ng programa, hangad ng SDO na mabigyan ang mga batang Tomasino ng matibay na paghahanda upang maipamalas nila ang kanilang buong kakayahan sa mga darating na kompetisyon at maging inspirasyon sa kapwa mag-aaral.

𝙎𝙩𝙤. 𝙏𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙨 𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙧 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝘼𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙙 𝙆𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝘼𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙮 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣

Teachers of Sto. Tomas Senior High School attended a Khan Academy orientation on September 25, 2026, to learn about the platform’s digital learning resources and how these may support classroom instruction.

The orientation introduced teachers to Khan Academy’s lessons and practice activities, which they can explore as supplementary materials for their students. It also gave participants an opportunity to consider how digital tools can help address different learning needs.

The activity reflects the school’s continuing efforts to equip teachers with resources that support teaching and learning.

The Schools Division Office of Sto. Tomas City conducted an onboarding program for School Counselor Associate I personnel from September 23 to 25, 2026.

The three-day program introduced the participants to their roles and responsibilities and oriented them on the division’s processes for providing guidance and support to learners. It also provided an opportunity for the new personnel to connect with their colleagues as they prepared to serve in schools.

Through the onboarding program, SDO Sto. Tomas City strengthened its efforts to provide responsive support for the well-being and development of every Batang Tomasino.

LUNGSOD NG STO. TOMAS, Batangas — Ibinahagi ng City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSDWO) sa mga school head ng SDO Sto. Tomas City ang mahahalagang impormasyon tungkol sa mga batang nasa panganib (Children at Risk o CAR) at mga batang nasasangkot sa paglabag sa batas (Children in Conflict with the Law o CICL) ngayong Setyembre 25, 2026.

Bago ang pagbabahaging ito, nagsagawa na ng inisyal na pulong ang ilang kawani ng SDO noong Setyembre 23, 2026 upang talakayin ang pagpapatibay ng programa. Bahagi ang mga hakbang na ito ng paghahanda sa pagbuo ng isang task force na tutulong sa mga paaralan na matukoy ang pangangailangan ng mga mag-aaral at maiugnay sila sa angkop na suporta at serbisyo.

Inaasahang palalakasin ng pakikipagtulungan ng lokal na pamahalaan, sa pamamagitan ng CSWDO, at ng SDO Sto. Tomas City ang koordinasyon sa pangangalaga ng mga mag-aaral. Magbubukas din ito ng mas malawak na kampanya upang masuportahan ang mga kabataang Tomasino at matulungan silang magkaroon ng mas ligtas at maayos na kinabukasan.

Isinagawa ng mga kawani ng Schools Division Office (SDO) of Sto. Tomas City ang Third Quarter Earthquake Drill ngayong Setyembre 16, 2026 bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pagpapaigting ng kahandaan at kaligtasan sa oras ng lindol at iba pang sakuna.

Sa pagsisimula ng drill, isinagawa ng mga kawani ang wastong “Duck, Cover, and Hold” bago ang maayos at sistematikong paglikas patungo sa itinakdang evacuation area. Sinunod din ang mga itinakdang safety protocol upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng lahat habang isinasagawa ang aktibidad.

Layunin ng pagsasanay na mapataas ang antas ng kaalaman, kahandaan, at tamang pagtugon ng mga kawani sa panahon ng lindol. Nakatulong din ito upang masuri ang bisa ng evacuation procedures at matukoy ang mga bahaging kailangan pang pagbutihin sa disaster preparedness plan ng tanggapan.

Sa pamamagitan ng regular na pagsasagawa ng earthquake drills, patuloy na pinagtitibay ng SDO Sto. Tomas City ang kultura ng kahandaan, disiplina, at pagtutulungan tungo sa isang ligtas at matatag na lugar ng trabaho.

Pormal na nilagdaan ng Schools Division Office (SDO) of Sto. Tomas City at ng nanalong bidder ang kontrata para sa pagtatayo ng bagong gusali ng SDO noong Setyembre 15, 2026, sa harap ng mga stakeholder ng Dibisyon.

Pinangunahan ni Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Neil G. Angeles, CESO V, ang seremonya ng paglagda bilang mahalagang hakbang tungo sa pagkakaroon ng sariling gusaling magsisilbing sentro ng episyente, maayos, at higit na accessible na serbisyong pang-edukasyon para sa mga Batang Tomasino.

Sa kanyang mensahe, binigyang-diin ni SDS Angeles na paiiralin ang ganap na katapatan, pananagutan, at transparency sa buong proseso ng pagpapatayo. Aniya, layunin ng SDO na ipakita sa lahat na walang puwang ang korupsiyon sa nasabing proyekto.

Dagdag pa niya, kaya pang makabangon ng bansa mula sa suliranin ng korupsiyon sa pamamagitan ng sama-samang pagtataguyod ng katapatan at mabuting pamamahala. Binigyang-diin niyang ang pagbabagong ito ay maaaring magsimula sa wastong paghubog sa mga Batang Tomasino bilang mga mamamayang may integridad at malasakit sa bayan.

Ang paglagda sa kontrata ay sumasalamin sa pangako ng SDO Sto. Tomas City na isagawa ang proyekto alinsunod sa mga umiiral na batas at pamantayan sa pampublikong procurement, habang pinangangalagaan ang kapakanan at tiwala ng mga stakeholder.

Inaasahang ang bagong SDO Building ay magiging sagisag hindi lamang ng pag-unlad ng edukasyon sa lungsod kundi pati ng tapat, transparent, at responsableng paglilingkod-bayan.

Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Neil G. Angeles, CESO V, delivered his State of the Division Address, titled “Ulat ng Dibisyon: Mga Tagumpay, Hamon, at Direksyon,” before the stakeholders of the Schools Division Office of Sto. Tomas City on September 15, 2026, at Sto. Tomas South Central School.

During the address, Dr. Angeles presented the Division’s significant accomplishments, continuing challenges, and strategic directions in improving the delivery of quality, inclusive, and learner-centered basic education. He highlighted the collective efforts of teaching and non-teaching personnel, school leaders, parents, local government officials, and community partners in advancing the programs and priorities of the Division.

The Schools Division Superintendent also discussed initiatives aimed at improving learners’ academic performance, strengthening teacher development, upgrading school facilities and learning resources, promoting good governance, and expanding partnerships with education stakeholders.

While recognizing the Division’s achievements, Dr. Angeles emphasized the need to address existing gaps and emerging concerns through evidence-based planning, responsive leadership, efficient resource management, and sustained stakeholder engagement.

The fourth State of the Division Address reaffirmed SDO Sto. Tomas City’s commitment to transparency and accountability while setting a clear direction toward a more responsive, innovative, and future-ready education system for every Batang Tomasino.

The Schools Division Office of Sto. Tomas City conducted the Gawad Kaakibat cm Stakeholders’ Convergence on September 15, 2026, at Sto. Tomas South Central School.

The activity recognized the invaluable contributions of individuals, organizations, institutions, and community partners who continuously support the programs, projects, and initiatives of the Division. It also served as an avenue to strengthen collaboration among education stakeholders and encourage greater participation in advancing inclusive and quality basic education.

During the convergence, stakeholders shared their commitment to sustaining partnerships that respond to the needs of learners, teachers, and schools. Outstanding partners were honored for their significant assistance and dedication to improving educational services across the city.

Through Gawad Kaakibat, SDO Sto. Tomas City reaffirmed that meaningful partnerships and collective action are vital in creating better learning opportunities and building a stronger education community for every Batang Tomasino.
