Four Teams, One Arena: Pinili Institute Fires Up Intramurals 2026

With colors flying and team pride on full display, Pinili Institute officially opened its Intramurals 2026 on August 21, bringing the Green, Red, Yellow, and Blue teams together for a spirited start to this year’s athletic competition.

The opening ceremony began with the parade of teams, as athletes and team representatives marched under their respective colors before the program proceeded with the national anthem, invocation, and opening remarks delivered by School Principal Dr. Anunciacion D. Pagdilao. Adding rhythm and energy to the festivities, the PI Banjar Group delivered the opening salvo.

Beyond the spectacle, the ceremony underscored the values that will define the competition. The coronation rites and lighting of the torch, formally ushered in the sporting festivities, followed by the Oath of Amateurism, led by Lei Angelica Barbado, affirming the athletes’ commitment to sportsmanship and fair play.

Meanwhile, Sports Coordinator Marwell Jay Marzan led the Oath of Officials, highlighting the responsibility of those entrusted to uphold fairness throughout the games.

The ceremony reached its symbolic peak with the rising of the team banners, carried by candidates and team leaders as each squad proudly raised its colors. Venice Xyren Yasay delivered the closing remarks for the opening rites.

With the banners raised and the ceremonial torch lit, the stage is now set. Four teams, one playing field, and countless chances to compete—the Intramurals 2026 has officially begun.
