๐•๐• ๐•ฆ๐•ฃ ๐•Š๐•ž๐•š๐•๐•– ๐•€๐•ค ๐•†๐•ฆ๐•ฃ ๐•„๐•š๐•ค๐•ค๐•š๐• ๐•Ÿ: A Dental Outreach for the Baao Indigenous Community

๐‘ณ๐‘ถ๐‘ถ๐‘ฒ - On October 5, 2023, a Dental Mission for Indigenous People with a theme "Your Smile Is Our Mission" took place at San Juan Elementary School in Baao, Camarines Sur. The mission offered essential oral health services to the community, including tooth extractions and dental check-ups. The Baao community came together to participate in and benefit from the organized event.

Prof. Jesusa B. Taumatorgo, the Director of the CBSUA Regional Center for Indigenous Peoples, initiated the program in collaboration with LGU Baao headed by Mayor Jeff Besinio together with Team Yoya, APO Iota Chapter, Unciano College of Dentistry, Team Pam, APO Bicol Administrative Region and APO Delti Pi Chapter. The concerted efforts of all individuals involved played a pivotal role in making the event successful and fruitful, ultimately bringing happiness and a sense of fulfillment to the people who took part in the program.
