A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated parents and community leaders who came together in the true spirit of bayanihan to repair and strengthen our school gate, ensuring a safer and more secure learning environment for our learners.

This meaningful initiative was spearheaded by Mr. and Mrs. Jette Almazan, Committee on Education Chairperson of Brgy. South Balioag, in collaboration with PTA President Rodalyn T. Sison, Kagawad Prince Charles Ferido and Kevin Keith D. Almazan, who also volunteered as a parent, Kagawad Jaylord Sison and Mr. Jasper De Guzman.

Your generosity, hard work, and commitment to the welfare of our school community are truly inspiring. Through unity and cooperation, we continue to create a safe and nurturing environment where every child can learn and thrive.

Opening Block SY 2026-2027

Today, we proudly commemorate the 128th Anniversary of Philippine Independence, a reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering love for our country shown by our national heroes.

As one DepEd family, let us continue to uphold the values of patriotism, unity, responsibility, and excellence. May we inspire our learners to honor our nation's history by becoming responsible citizens who contribute to a brighter, stronger, and more progressive Philippines.

Opening of School Year 2026–2027

Opening of School Year 2026–2027

South Balioag Primary School successfully conducted the opening activities for School Year 2026–2027. The day began with a warm Kamustahan and getting-to-know-you session, fostering a welcoming and positive learning environment for all learners.
Various Beginning of School Year (BOSY) Assessments were also administered, including the Rapid Math Assessment (RMA), Comprehensive Rapid Literacy Assessment (CRLA), Philippine Informal Reading Inventory (Phil-IRI), developmental observation and profiling for Kindergarten learners, and the measurement of learners' height and weight to establish baseline data for the school year.
A PTA Orientation on the Three-Term System was likewise conducted to strengthen partnership and collaboration between the school and parents. The event was further highlighted by the ribbon-cutting and turnover ceremony of the LGU-funded project, symbolizing the community's continued support for quality education.
With the cooperation of learners, parents, teachers, school personnel, and stakeholders, all activities were conducted successfully. Together, we look forward to a productive, meaningful, and successful School Year 2026–2027! 💙💛

📌ARAL SUMMER PROGRAM CONCLUDES SUCCESSFULLY

The school held the ARAL Summer Culmination Program, where the learner and his parent/guardian participated. The event showcased the learner’s hard work and progress during the ARAL Summer classes, led by Teacher Josarell Rosete Peralta. Teacher Rubymay Dait-Ferido served as the ARAL Focal Person, while the school head, Miss Rosewel G. Labutong, provided guidance and supervision throughout the program. The teachers of South Balioag Primary School also extended their support, contributing to the success of the event.

Miss Labutong expressed her sincere appreciation to the parent/guardian for the continued support and involvement in the child's education. She encouraged the parent to remain actively engaged in the child's learning journey and participation in school activities. She emphasized that strong parental support greatly contributes to a learner's success and shared that by working together, families and schools can help build a brighter future for every child.

The school is delighted with the learner's progress and remains committed to providing meaningful learning experiences while encouraging every stakeholder to collaborate in nurturing the learner's talents and abilities.

📢 BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026 KICK-OFF PROGRAM June 1, 2026

With the spirit of bayanihan and shared responsibility, our school officially launched the Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick-Off Program, bringing together stakeholders, parents, community partners, teachers, and volunteers in preparation for the opening of classes.
The activity highlighted the importance of collaboration in creating a safe, clean, and learner-friendly school environment. Through the collective efforts and unwavering support of our stakeholders, we continue to strengthen our commitment to providing quality education for every learner.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated and contributed their time, effort, and resources. May this be the beginning of another successful Brigada Eskwela and a productive school year ahead.
