Dedicated Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) and Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) of DepEd Pilar Elementary School, together with their scout leaders actively participated in the Simultaneous Council Clean-Up Drive, working together to keep our school and community clean, safe, and beautiful.

Preparedness Today, Safety Always! ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ

DepEd Pilar Elementary School actively participated in the National Simultaneous School Safety Drill ( NSSD) on Sept. 03,2026, a national initiative that equips schools with standardized, trauma-informed protocols to protect students and staff during active campus threats, attacks, or shooter incidents.

The drill provided an opportunity for our learners, teachers, law enforcers, parents, and participating stakeholders to practice proper emergency procedures, coordination, evacuation, and safety protocols. It also emphasized the importance of staying calm, following instructions, and working together to protect lives.

Furthermore, we value the privacy and protection of our learners. The videos included in this post were taken and shared with the consent/authorization of the parents or legal guardians of the learners whose faces are visible. We remain committed to responsible documentation and safeguarding our learnersโ€™ rights and well-being.

After the activity, a post-drill evaluation and assessment was conducted to identify strengths, challenges, gaps, and areas for improvement to help the school further enhance its School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SDRRM) plans, emergency procedures, and preparedness measures for attacks.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 134, alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures shall be implemented at all levels in public and private educational institutions in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on September 4, 2026, unless their respective Local Chief Executives direct the cancellation or suspension of classes:
