San Juan Elementary School conducted its School-Based In-Service Training (INSET) for Teachers today, September 10, 2026, focusing on Enhancing Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) through the SOLO Taxonomy in Instruction and Assessment.
The training provided teachers with meaningful learning opportunities to deepen their understanding of the SOLO Model and strengthen classroom practices that promote higher-order thinking, effective instruction and meaningful assessment.
Through continuous professional development, SJES teachers remain committed to improving teaching practices and providing quality learning experiences for every learner.

San Juan Elementary School successfully conducted a meaningful Clean-Up Drive followed by the General PTA Assembly and First Term Progress Report Card Distribution today, September 9, 2026.
The activity began with a school clean-up drive, where teachers and parents/guardians worked together to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming learning environment for our learners.
This was followed by the General PTA Assembly, led by Mr. Napoleon B. Bobias our school head, with the active participation of teachers and parents/guardians. The gathering provided an opportunity to discuss important school matters, strengthen communication and foster a stronger school-home partnership.
The Progress Report Card Distribution also allowed parents and teachers to share and reflect on learnersโ€™ progress and work together in supporting their continued learning and development.
