The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Pikit National High School will conduct an orientation for all official MLC participants from Pikit NHS, at the Pikit NHS Covered Court, 4:00 P.M.

This orientation will discuss the objectives, schedule of activities, guidelines, and responsibilities of MLC participants. Important reminders regarding attendance, attire, and conduct will also be addressed to ensure the smooth implementation of the program.

All concerned learners are expected to attend promptly and observe proper decorum.

As the Municipal Learnersโ€™ Convergence (MLC) 2026 draws near, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Pikit National High School formally announces the official list of learners who will participate in this two-day gathering of young leaders.

Their selection is a recognition of their leadership, character, responsibility, and commitment to the school community. More than names on a list, they represent the trust vested in them and the responsibility of carrying the name of Pikit National High School beyond the school grounds.

At MLC 2026, participants are called to do more than attend. They are expected to listen with purpose, engage with conviction, learn with humility, and lead through action. Every interaction, insight, and contribution becomes an opportunity to reflect the character of the institution they represent.

As they take their place among fellow learner-leaders, may they stand with integrity in character, discipline in conduct, and excellence in service.

The Pikit National High School Supreme Secondary Learner Government (PNHS-SSLG) held its continual Pulot-Basura campaign together with The ฯ€ioneer Mind and the Grade 12 Class Officers last wednesday, August 5, 2026.

In collaboration with Grade 12 Sections: MENDEL, LINNAEUS, CERF, BANDURA, PIAGET, SMITH, EINSTEIN, DRUCKER, DEWEY, PAVLOV, BRUNER, and PERLMAN, they upheld the value of cleanliness and environmental responsibility in our school.

Through this initiative, students worked hand in hand to collect waste around the campus, promoting a cleaner and greener Pikit NHS.

In line with the commitment to foster student leadership and inter-school collaboration, Pikit National High School has been designated as the official venue for the Municipal Learner Convergence (MLC) of the Municipal Federation Supreme Secondary Learners' Government (MFSSLG), and will be held on August 22 - 23, 2026.

As approved by Pikit NHS Principal, Mr. Abdulkadir K. Buda, the convergence will convene secondary student leaders from across the municipality for leadership training, policy dialogue, and strategic planning aimed at strengthening learner governance for the current school year.

Beyond discussions, the MLC will also feature collaborative activities and friendly competitions among participating schools. These engagements are designed to promote teamwork, camaraderie, and the exchange of best practices in student leadership and school governance.

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Pikit National High School held its continuous Pulot-Basura Campaign Initiative on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

With a collaborative effort alongside the Himig Kalilintad, Pikit Titan Chess Club, Grade 9 class officers, and Grade 9 sections: EMERALD, STE-CURIE, and DIAMOND, the activitiy successfully promoted environmental awareness and cleanliness within the school campus.
