September 21, 2026 โ€” After several weeks of hectic schedules spent preparing for and conducting previous events, and the countless efforts poured into them, the Pikit National High School Supreme Secondary Learner Government (PNHS-SSLG) hereby resumes its duty in the Pulot-Basura Campaign.

As part of its commitment to promoting Makakalikasan values, the SSLG will continue to implement daily schedules for the said program every dismissal, beginning this week and continuing throughout the school year.

Through this campaign, the SSLG seeks to cultivate a strong sense of environmental responsibility among all learners in order to foster a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for the entire student body.

The SSLG urges all learners to take part. Together, through discipline and care for our environment, we can keep Pikit NHS clean and safe.

As we headed back from our journey during the Division Learner Convergence (DLC) 2026, it was a stepping stone towards collaboration, shared efforts, and roaring cheers as we witnessed student-leaders showcase their talents.

Held on September 7-9, 2026 at Antipas National High School, the three-day convergence brought together student-leaders from 17 municipalities across SDO Cotabato. It was more than a gathering โ€” it was a celebration of leadership, creativity, and the spirit of service.

The delegates from the Municipality of Pikit came with willingness and a clear sense of purpose. Throughout the event, they listened to speakers discuss leadership, engaged in collaboration with fellow participants, and filled the venue with their loudest cheers during competitions.

Beyond competitions and awards, the true highlight for the Pikit delegation was the connections built. Different dialects met in one venue, but the language of leadership and service was the same.

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Pikit National High School officially announces that the council is now a YORP-registered organization as of September 12, 2026.

Along with SSLG President Haifa Bantas and Secretary Richelle Lumagan, both officers attended the registration to formalize the organizationโ€™s status and strengthen its programs for the school year.

The YORP registration recognizes the SSLG as an official student organization, allowing it to implement projects, access support, and represent the student body in municipal level.

With this milestone, the SSLG vows to push forward initiatives focused on leadership, service, and student empowerment in the coming months.

From municipal to the division stage, Rajal Sucol and Jaheera Sapal carried more than just their names โ€” they carried their municipalityโ€™s pride. Chosen to represent Pikit during the Division Learner Convergence (DLC) 2026 held September 7 - 9, 2026 at Antipas National High School.

More than a competition, it was a journey built on preparation, effort, determination, and ideas that made their performance shine. With heartfelt thanks to the glam team who gave their all every step of the way: Kerby James Malingco, Sittie Zuleima M. Matalam, Richelle Anne M. Lumagan, Amiren Mandato, and Rashlie Kamal. And to their mentor, Sir John Mangunay, for guiding them.

Among 17 municipalities of SDO Cotabato, it was Sucol and Sapal who carried Pikitโ€™s banner onto the DLC stage. What the stage didnโ€™t show were the weeks of preparation โ€” the long practices, the constant support from their glam team and coach, and the little wins they celebrated along the way.

Stepping onto the division stage meant more than competition. It meant representing home. It meant letting 17 municipalities see the face, voice, and determination they built.

Contemporary dancers from Pikit National High School brought the spirit of the Municipality of Pikit to the Division Learner Convergence (DLC) 2026 on September 7-9 at Antipas National High School.

The dancers who turned sweat into effort and performance into story: Shaheen D. Duma, Kyn B. Andatuan, Sittie Aisah M. Adil, Morfany Ali, Zaharodin Gulam, Janiela Krix N. Mulao, Jassim Dimapilis, Farjanna B. Adam, Yasser M. Alon, Hanifa B. Odin, Rozienne Mae B. Acain, and Jurhanie Tumanong โ€” individuals who did not only represent the banner of Pikit, but also carried its shared bonds, sweat, and tears throughout their journey.

Backed by training and determination, the team moved with grit and grace against 16 other municipalities from across SDO Cotabato. Their effort earned them 4th runner-up โ€” a finish that spoke louder than any ranking.

For the dancers, it was never just about placement. It was about proving that with preparation, unity, and passion, Pikit can stand and shine on a bigger stage.

The Documentary Team of Pikit National High School carried the voice of the Municipality of Pikit to the Division Learner Convergence 2026, held on September 7-9 at Antipas National High School. Among 17 municipalities across SDO Cotabato, they stood not to chase a trophy, but to showcase the impact of SSLG projects on its learners.

Spearheaded by director Jasper D. Guibas, the team โ€” Haroed Kadatuan, Shahanie A. Salik, Jamil Dinnor Jamil, Myle Jurris D. Calanao, Mikee Aleah V. Kutin, Alyssa Aliman, Nor Mohainodin Mongkal, and James John F. Basiao โ€” who poured hours into research, interviews, and editing.

In years of service, โ€˜Kamag-Aral Ko, Tutulungan Koโ€™ featured as the very heart of the documentary โ€” the SSLG project that provides financial support to Pikit NHS learners in need. More than activities, it is service in action: reaching out and reminding students that no one struggles alone.

Anchored in DepEdโ€™s core values of Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan, at Makabansa, the SSLG remains committed to supporting learners beyond academics. Through care and action, it shows that true leadership is about uplifting every student.

Through the lens of SSLG projects, they captured stories that matter: stories of service, of learners, and of a community striving forward. Their participation proved that through storytelling, SSLG projects can bring hope amid challenges.

Some officers from the Pikit National High School Supreme Secondary Learner Government (PNHS-SSLG) participated in a two-day Gender and Development (GAD) Training held at Dilangalen National High School on August 29โ€“30, 2026.

During the training, participants took part in discussions and workshops focused on gender sensitivity, anti-discrimination, and the role of student leaders in advancing GAD initiatives in schools.

The activity aimed to strengthen the officersโ€™ understanding of their responsibility to promote gender-responsive policies, inclusivity, and safe learning spaces in Pikit NHS.

The PNHS-SSLG extended its appreciation to Dilangalen National High School, and to all facilitators and organizers, for the successful conduct of the training.
